Forest City National Golf Club

I have played this course before and was always impressed by conditions , layout and value for the money. This time the greens were in poor condition. they had a wedding in the clubhouse and we couldn't get a beer or anything to eat at the turn. also when the rain hit the pulled the beer cart off the course and provided no alternative to serve us.Very disappointed in a outing that in the past was top notch. Need to clean up their act.

The course is very customer focused. They give you a small bucket of balls for the range to warm up before the game. The give you a GPS even though the course yardage is well marked. And they book tee offs far apart so everybody can enjoy the game. Hower a slow four some in front of us backed up the course until the ranger moved them along. The only problem is the front nine greens were winter killed and it will take some time before the greens are nice. Loved the course.

Several greens in poor shape after hard winter. They'll get better after this early season start.

I finally had a chance to play Forest City National and I wasn't disappointed. A really nice layout and challenging. For the month of October the greens were fairly fast but you could tell in the summer months they would be like glass! One thing I noticed there was a bit of distance from green to the next tee box which didn't allow for stray balls to come flying over your head. I would recommend this course and will definitely come back in the summer when the greens are really true!!

This course is a true hidden gem. Greens were excellent as was the rest of the course. Staff very good. Would recommend!

Cool but clear late October morning. Course still in good condition. On-course washrooms and snack bar already closed for season. No cart service. Practice range still open. Friendly service. Fallen leaves occasionally a problem finding balls even on fairways & some bunkers. Still a bargain at the Hot Deal rate.

What a great course for our foursomes varying skill levels. We all enjoyed playing this course for the first time and will definitely return. Hopefully next time we'll have better weather.

Very well kept golf course with tricky undulating greens.When the wind is blowing, club selection is key on certain holes.Bunkers are well kept with a grainy medium type sand although i did not visit them very often.played in windy /rainy conditions from gold tees and fairways etc stood up well.Cart paths need maintenance restaurant needs to open earlier than 11am and maybe offer breakfast specials?
All in all a beautifull golf course worth regular visits.

Course was in great conditions for fall golf. Greens were kept free of leaves etc. fairways were well maintained.

Best course I have played on in Canada, a great test of golf, used every club in my bag.

This is one of my favourite courses, challenging, picturesque, well maintained and fun. Love that it looks out over Fanshawe Lake and as an added feature got buzzed numerous times by a fighter jet from the nearby airport. No idea why he was doing that. I also liked that there are four positions a person can play from depending on your skill level.

The staff is second to none. The greens are the most challenging and best around. The main hazard on the course is the bunkers and they are never in good shape. Sometimes the small amount of loose sand is raked but, they are always hard as rock. Fix this issue and the course would be perfect.

Got out with my 3 brothers for the first time in a couple years. Setting was perfect for the day

First time playing this course, enjoyed the challenge and layout. Small greens, bunkers and water throughout. Highly recommend anyone to play and enjoy this course.

Was not playing very well at the time but that was ok, had lots of room to spray the ball.The fairways were easy to hit from and greens were fairly easy to put on.The staff was friendly and very helpful.The space between tee times allowed us to play without been rushed or to feel you were always waiting.The price was proper for the course. Beautiful course. Tough but very fairway friendly. T off areas sensational which you do not get very often. Fairways very open but then when you approach a green things narrow dramatically .

Great course condition and great price. Have played this course almost every time I have been in the london area. Excellent conditon and aome great holes.

Love the course, the staff and overall value. The course is in wonderful condition, the views are spectacular, especially the lake view with sailboats on #9. Great value, food is excellent, can't be beat!!!
