About
Eagles Nest Golf Club sprawls across a rugged landscape of sand dunes and dense fescue that was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The terrain is the ideal setting for a scenic, challenging round. The golf course's layout is a unique links design by Canada's top course architect, Doug Carrick, who incorporated slick, fast greens and meticulously manicured fairways. Golfers face many precarious challenges including sod wall bunkers, vast waste areas, and prevailing winds. Eagles Nest Golf Club offers panoramic views of downtown Toronto, especially on the par-3 8th hole. One of the most notably difficult holes is the par-5 17th, which features a split fairway, water, fescue, and a desert-like waste bunker.

Nice course
Nice course, green fee a touch high considering you can play tpc Toronto, Muskoka bay etc for less.
Great course, terrible pace of play
Not my first round here and love the layout, lightning quick greens and overall condition. My hesitation in returning will be around pace of play. Out tee time was 330pm, we wrapped up just shy of 830pm, for the price and prestige, this is horrible. The back nine was wait every hole, group in front of us bailed after 13 as they were fed up. In short, lots to like here, but if pace of play is a problem, may want to reconsider.
Extraordinary track
Wonderful course in nearly every conceivable way. Challenging but a fair test. Views are amazing. The only problem was hole 16. It was nearly unplayable due to the volume of geese and geese droppings in the fairway. We had to pick up and move our balls.
No practice balls available
They had a few hundred practice balls in a basket but I was informed those balls were ‘reserved’ for lessons only. There was only 1 person getting lessons. The instructor informed me I would have to wait for them to bring more practice balls out. They did not bring any more prior to my round. I had to grab a few from the putting green just to get in a few shots at the range. Kind of annoying for such an expensive course.

Green speed around 9-9.5. Great pace. Beautiful course
What a view
Played on a crazy windy day and it was extremely hard, can’t wait to play on a nice summer day. The views of downtown were fantastic.
Great course but lacking in customer service
Expectations for this level of course and cost was not even close to being met.
1st golfers to this course need a good booklet on each hole or at least gps golf carts
