No value, course is ill kept.
So many golf courses are much better kept…
This was once a great track, now it’s gone downhill on every aspect possible.
I was excited to golf there, until i started my round. We almost turned back to the clubhouse for a refund after a few holes.
I won’t go back, especially for the price- and they have No junior rate… i guess the next generation of golfers will be playing elsewhere…
This is what happens when nobody in charge gives a hoot. yeah, i said hoot.
Not what it used to be
I know they are major changes about to happen to the course,-as it is included in the development around it- but it has been let go. For an early September round on a Sunday- at full price of 170-it was in rough shape. The greens were not up to the level of this club's past.
Few of the bunkers were fixed from the day before. Many had GOLF BALL sized rocks in them...no joke.
The halfway house was closed on a weekend.. full price again here folks.
This is truly a tournament course now, with tournament etiquette by the players. It is still busy, but not worth the $ and not what it used to be....
Beautiful course
We played North course for the first time and really enjoyed it. Very picturesque and great for the average golfer. Would love to return.
All greens are under aerification.
Booked through Golfnow and No aerification alert at the time of booking. Just felt cheated and unhappy.
Good golf, bad food
Hi. I was entertaining clients after completing our round of golf - our food experience at the Silo restaurant was rather bad. Perhaps you have changed your suppliers as I have had good experiences there for many years.
Unfortunately, the food was bad enough that I will not likely come back. Also, I will advise my associates to avoid Angus Glen (was embarrassed to have hosted clients at a place with such quality food)
The post golf experience is equally important as the actual golf, especially for business clients. I am surprised to see the level drop so far at Angus Glen.
