Great 36 hole course in the city.
Can't say anything bad about the recent round I played here, well kept course conditions and pace of play was good. Will definitely go back and play. Payed $52 walking with a Golfnow HOTDEAL which was a good deal in my books. Will definitely play this course again, it as 36 holes on the property and I'm eager to play the other 18. Good job Remington Parkview, keep up the good work, a lot of overpriced and overrated courses in the GTA and your definitely not one of them.
Too many issues to be honest
1)I had to change carts twice because they had almost no power and very, very slow. Even the one I ended up with started to look like it was gonna die near the end.
2) Check in staff wasn’t really responsive. Didn’t even come out of his little cabin. I had to go and talk to him multiple times figure out when we’re gonna tee off.
3) with no Marshall monitoring pace of play I’m sorry to say this Asian for some in front of us spend more times looking for balls watching each other hit a ball before hitting their ball. It was painful altogether just playing behind them. They slow down the pace of play for everybody behind us who also are complaining. Unfortunately, this is normal
Great course, BUT
Thought this was a great course. Nice layout fairies were good traps were a bit wet. There is a big train track that runs through the middle of the course and whenever a train goes by. It slows down the pace as you have to cross the tracks twice during the 18 holes, and I found that there was no one Marshall the pace of play and we had to wait a lot
Another great day
The condition of the course was fantastic....as usual. Our only gripe was the initial pace of play, we had a very slow foursome ahead of us who we ended up leap fogging on the second hole, then there was aother very slow threesome in front of them, they waved us through and then it was a normal pace. This, and the Valley corses are tough courses to book unless you book a couple of weeks ahead, which is testament to the popularity of both courses. My golfing friends and I love it here.
Remington Upper
I recommend courses such as Remington forbid the playing music on the golf course. Golfers are inconsiderate of the volume as the sound easily carries over to the next fairway, let alone anywhere near the cart.
Was a great round, enjoyable notwithstanding some rain on about 6 holes on the front. the back 9 clear. very serene out there
