Maybe just got it at the perfect time but great experience
Great staff course was in great shape fun layout will do it again for the price
Sat’s round
The course was immaculate. Greens were challenging and fair. Pace of play was ok. The foursome in front allow for play thru. Excellent experience.
‘Interesting’ but pretty challenging course
I played in the upper course, which seemed at first having a generally flat and straight layout. Nice course to use pull carts. Interesting thing about this course, is definitely a railroad track that goes across it. When crossing, I was having fun watching a long cargo train passing by :-). Also, the upper course is covered with a significant number of high voltage electricity towers. Trust me - it is a sight to behold. At one of the hole, you have a pleasure of driving your tee shot right between the two towers - something that not many courses do provide.
Fairway and greens were in great shape, which I really liked. However, don’t get that fool you. The greens are firm, and fast, so make sure you are not overshooting your approaches. Far better result when the ball lands a little shorter and rolls up.
Rough is very tough. If you do not make it to the fairways, consider an extra stroke. In the back nine, there are many short par 4’s, but don’t get fooled by their length - make sure you put the ball on the fairway.
Staffs were super friendly, and really enjoyed their food and drinks. And there are many places where you can dine nearby too.
Course in great condition
The courses (both) are so beautiful to play. They do a great job of keeping it green and the natural flowers are beautiful. Staff are super friendly.
Not a good managed course, maybe just for your practice
It’s not a well managed golf course. The starter has a bad attitude towards their guests. I was just 10 minutes away from my tee time and he just told me that it’s not your turn and you were not sure what time you expect to start your round. On the course the group in front of us played extremely slow and there was no course assistant to help. There’s a railroad runs into the grounds and the train went back and forth at least 4 times during our round. It took about 5 hours to finish this round and the last few holes were played in the darkness. Too many groups and the balls flying everywhere.
5 hours round!
Group in front of us were drinking and smoking and coming back randomly to look for their balls making at least two holes wide open in front of them!
Marshall are too friendly to help correct the situation.
Pace too slow eventually gave up after 14 holes!
