Rude treatment by marshal, Les
The marshal, Les, was UNBELIEVABLY rude to us while we were waiting for our friends. He walked up to me and the following conversation ensued:
Les: "Where is the rest of your crew?"
Me: "Just loading up their cart. They're coming."
Les: "Yeah so is Christmas. WHERE IS THE REST OF YOUR CREW (in a disgustingly mocking sarcastic tone).
I've never been spoken to like a toddler by an employee at a golf course where I've just spent money to play. I froze and did not know how to respond. I offered to shout loudly across the parking lot in the hopes my friends would hurry up. I pointed out to Les that we were 15 minutes ahead of our tee time still. He mentioned some kind of "traffic issue" which is not my problem nor is it an excuse to treat customers badly.

Slow Remington
Nice course well laid out. 5 hours for a 3 ball far too long. No course Marshall lots of pitch marks left on greens. Most Te boxes need mainteance, no one including green staff repair divots they’re left. Golfers taking golf trolleys across tee boxes

Despite several days of rain earlier in the week the course was in great condition with little or no pools of standing water.
A very good bargain for weekend play
Slow pace of play
The pace of play was ridiculously slow. Probably the slowest round of golf I’ve played. At one point on hole 6 there was 4 groups waiting. I called the club house and their response was just “sorry there nothing we can do about it.” No apologies from them no sympathy at all. Never going to be coming back to that course.
