Pleasantly surprised
This well kept par 3 golf course is a nice use of space that otherwise would go unused. You get a nice view of the surrounding area and Mississauga while moving from each hole that is well maintained and challenging for a par 3. Not many bunkers or water hazards which is to be expected considering the the location atop an old land fill. A great course if you are a beginner or want to hone your game for a couple of hours.
Good practice course
Course was in pretty decent shape. Staff is friendly. No soap in women's washroom. Windy especially at those hilltop tee boxes. Slow pace of play because the juniors camp kids were out. Would definitely come again to work on my short game, but maybe when it's a little quieter.
Saw a pair of peregrine falcons around hole 5!
Good exec course and value
We played this great exec 9hole course before rain storm hit. The course was empty. It was windy. We had a great time. This course is good for practising irons or. Take a biginner or child.
Want to sharpen your irons?
This Braeben Academy course is a great 9 hole venue to sharpen your iron shots and short game skills, especially your putting. This is no chip and putt venue, so don't assume all short putts are going in, 'cause you will find they're not. This is great value for your money considering you simply cannot get the same degree of practice from 2 or 3 buckets of balls hit on a driving range.
This course is good value for money
Really good course with challenging features that keeps the golf play interesting. We will definitely be back there this summer.
great beginner course
great course in the heart of mississauga. good value and a my dad and I had a great time.
Great Value!
This by far for the price is one of the better par 3 courses I have played, I would definitely play again as it gives you a chance to work on short game for a very fair price
Great Overall 9 hole-Par 3
Very well maintained, quiet in the middle of a community. Variety of elevations makes the course interesting to play and a good workout to walk lol
great place to try your irons no need for the big guns
this course has large greens ,beautiful green fairways and greens lots of hills. not one green is easy you will need to be able read the greens for putting being high up on a hill means you have a lot of cross winds but over all a very nice course
Course in great shape
This course survived last winter well. Fairways and greens are in excellent conditions.
good layout
nice course for a quick nine only issue is you seem to be pulling the same club out of your bag on the tee blocks.
Great short track to work on short irons
This course was great for working on the accuracy of short iron and wedge play. Some of the holes had small landing areas or were well guarded by bunkers in the front. The last hole was a bit of a surprise because of the distance. Even though I was on the greens from the tee box, the undulations on the greens still make for a tough read on my putts, and three-putts kill! I sensed that there were a lot of hackers/beginners because the tee boxes had lots of big divots and the ball marks were scattered all over the greens. This course will give you a taste of what playing on its big brother, the Braeben Championship links course, will be like.
Great 9 hole par 3
Great beginner 9 hole course or a great warm up course - well kept
Great value overall.
I live a few minutes from the course. Good course to book at the last minute. On weekedays, at around 3, there is nobody playing. So you can easily hit two-three shots per hole and get great short game practice.
Wind can be tricky on tee shots some times, but to play the course for less than $9.00 is a bargain (less than a $1 a hole).
If I have nothing to do in the afternoon, and this deal is still around for less than $9, I'll usually do it every time.
Inexpensive Par 3
Great little par 3 course for practice. Well maintained, lots of hills and bunkers. A very good practice facility.
Great place to practice your short game
This is a short par 27, 9 hole course. Great for beginners or for practicing your short game. From the back tees, I used most of my irons as the wind was strong which made club selection tricky. The conditioning was good and the course was easy to walk. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon, and we finished in under 2 hours.
Great Course for Beginners
Nice 9 hole course to practise your irons. Nice, undulating ground that gives great golfing experience.
