BraeBen Golf Course - Championship

Superb, long fairways, fast greens and impossible roughs. Beautiful views all around the elevated course. Tough course despite lacking water hazards.

Broad fairways, fast greens, good bunkers. Beautiful undulating layout. One of the highest points of the town. Very friendly staff. The proshop and the Cafe could've been better, hardly any stock.

Had a problem with my golf cart brakes, the wet tires in the morning dew caused it to skid badly. Other than that unnerving incident, this is a great course.

Best value in the GTA. This course keeps getting better year after year.

Marshall was very rude… May be it’s municipality course!!!

Otherwise staff was very polite and nice. Great course and value for money!!

First the good: Course conditions were great, value for the money, excellent. Pro shop staff, fantastic!

Now the bad: The starter was mean and snarky. He also was too busy picking at his balls to join two two-somes together which would have helped pace of play. He clearly doesn't know or care to his job seriously. Five hour plus round, saw a Marshall twice, just drove by without stopping or saying a single word. I guess he is just there to drive around and look for balls, rather than keep up the pace of play.

Food is not great but the bakery on mavis is great

Overall the golf was great …. Pace was a tad slow but the course and staff were great .

Very nice course … great shape .. challenging .. can be rather windy being so close to the lake and the elevation .. pace can be rather slow at times .// but all and all a great place to play golf . Lots of fun

Wet and soggy almost on every hole with the hurricane force winds and all day rain we experienced the day before. It was also misty when we started. The weather was also 10 degrees Celsius lower than normal (20 - 25 Fahrenheit). Couldn't' wait to get this over and go back to the car to warm up. The fairways are narrow in most places and they are also winding and zig-zagging everywhere. If I didn't have someone on my team who played here before, i would be totally lost. The layout was also confusing and in some cases the next hole was a 7-8 min walk to the next tee.
