Such Beauty and Value
Love this course. The course is very well maintained and has some great driving holes. I love the undulations On the fairways l and pin placements. Makes for a more interesting and surprising round.
Great conditions
For this late in the season the course is in amazing conditions. Greens are still nice and smooth.
Nice Course, Windy & Slow
The course is nice and always seems to be in good shape. There are a couple of hokey holes but some really fun ones as well. The wind is definitely a big factor.
Last time I played here, it took over an hour to get through our first 3 holes. We left after the 16th as it was getting dark and it was approaching the 5 hour mark.. I have played a few other times and pace hasn't been a problem.
Overall good course.
Factor the wind
The wind is a factor on this track. The greens were in excellent shape and fast
Great
Played Oct 2020 - course is in great shape. It's a little slow and no Marshals on the course to enforce. Otherwise greens are in immaculate condition (better play than Lakeview - the other Mississauga course).
Underrated
If Braeben was anywhere else, the green fees would be double. Enjoyable and pretty forgiving as the cut down some fescue. The course is in superb shape as well. Best thing about Braeben is that there are no leaves to deal with.
Doing lots or renos
Don’t expect to play the black tees, they are doing some work on the course at the moment. Greens are good though.
Evening round
The course was packed for a Tuesday night and boy was it slow. It was very hard to get 18 in but not impossible if you can maneuver yourself well.
The course was very well kept for the price, hats off to the grounds crew
