Fun course. Still challenging
Great combination of challenges and forgiveness. Always enjoy playing Braeben.
Pace of Play
There was a 2sone holding us (4some and others behind us) up all through the round. Rangers nowhere to be found to move them along.
Links style with a great view of surrounding Mississauga
I picked an early Sunday morning to play a Hot Deal round as a single player at Braeben. The weather was perfect for now, not a cloud in sight for the whole round. I was paired with a threesome, two of whom walked while I rode in the power cart with the third person. They were great company. I commended the two for walking because I walked this course and found it hilly which was great exercise and addressing the golf ball was challenging especially when I panted.
This links style course does not have a trees in the layout but up/down/side hill lies, well placed bunkers, fescue and blind landing areas such as the 3rd, 9th and 16th greens made my round interesting. I did keep my golf ball in the fairway as much as I can. Wind was not a factor at my round. Numerous commercial airplanes flew over because of the nearby Pearson international airport but I did not let that bother me.

Course must be overbooking, tee time was 2:06 but ended up teeing off at 2:15
Every tee shot we were waiting at the tee box for a few minutes. Especially the par 3's. Then waiting for players to get off the greens.
Not exactly ideal unless you like taking 20 practice swings.
The guys infront of us were good and waiting for the others before to finish.
Round took 6 hours
The last time I played here a couple years ago, i swore i would never come back. At the half way house my burger was burnt black! the round was also slow.
Nice course, great value!
Hard to believe you are playing on top of a former municipal dump site. Nice layout, good greens and great pace of play even though the course was full.

I am truly not recommend anyone to play at this course for the following reasons:
1. Professional staffs are incompetent and zero customer service.
2. Unregulated pace time.
3. Golf Marshall asked golfer to hit with driver when people 180 yards in fairway from tee area!!!!
Missing Marshalls
Played on a Saturday. Front 9 was okay. Back nine we ended up behind a foursome playing from back tees that should have been on the forward tees. Marshalls saw the back up and did nothing about it.
On one par 4 there was a group on the green, the group in front of us still on the tee waiting to hit our group and the group behind us also on the tee.
Slow play that could have been aided by a bit of assistance by on course player assistants.

awful experience
terrible course, the staff were useless (except for one marshal who helped us out with 3 holes to go) ..we were stuck playing behind seven people..yes SEVEN! AND THE ORIGINAL MARSHALL SAID WELL THEYRE ALL FRIENDS AND THEYRE PLAYING BEST BALL SO BE NICE AND THEY MIGHT LET YOU THROUGH. so needless to day I would never go back, the course is sub par the staff are incompetent and my ham and cheese sandwich was terrible.

Beautiful surprise
We had time till our flight so we booked Braeben on Golfnow. What a nice surprise. The course was lush, the greens were perfect and the staff are very friendly. The rentals were nice Nike Vapour's. Being used to paying 100-120$ a round out west, we had no issues with price and the cost of the round at Braeben. The layout is awesome and deserves a visit by anyone looking for a course in or near Mississauga.

Challenging course
Challenging course, played on a sunny weekend so it was busy, pace was a problem. Either we were waiting or had another group right up our backs the whole day.
Would come back, course is fun, made challenging by wind as it's totally exposed.

Very Nice
I love the Course. Wish it was a little less price. The place is near to me and very convenient to roads and market. The grass is very well maintained and challenging. The staff is cooperative too.
