A windy walk
The course is short, but offers some challenges even for excellent golfers. The lack of trees makes wind a major factor. If you enjoy a links style course it will make you happy. Proshop is lacking on goodies, and it plays slower than it should, considering the length. But a fine option with great views.
Roller Coaster Fairways
One of the better courses I’ve played at in GTA area. The fairways are wild and challenging. Beautiful scenery and this course definitely gives you a cardio workout especially on a windy day.
I paid the same as General admission, but if I go there, I was considered a senior player so I could’ve been charged $10 less. That’s why I’m not trying to reserve it through Golfnow Toronto public courses.
Great Municipal Course!
A solid course right in the GTA. Well maintained s as Bd greens were in good shape.
Recommend taking a cart as quite hilly. And avoid middle of day in summer and it tends to get very hot there given lack of trees /shade.
But overall a nice track!
May 6/ 24 always enjoy playing Braeben.
Would have given 5 stars across the board except for the majority of bunkers , weren't fluffed up yet and were packed down. Totally understandable for this time of year, especially with the rain lately . Everything, fairways, greens, signage ( 1st timers) and pace of play was great !
Played some late October ball
I played in 5 deg rainy and windy conditions at 9am. Man this course was so cool and so fun. Big workout for a walk. Gotta pay attention to where everything is.
But it was in great condition today. Slanted sloping greens, elevation changes, some blind approaches, huge downhill par 3s. Great view. Can't wait to try it next year in the summer.
Nice city course
Played for the first time today. Great view of Mississauga and in really good shape for October.
