About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

Still best course for the money in Eastern Ontario
First time playing Upper Canada in a number of years still in great condition and extremely challenging.
Our day on the road!
First time for my wife, first time for me in 35+ years. Course conditions were fantastic, greens were running true and medium pace. Fairways were also immaculate. Rough was rough - thick and lush as rough should be. No marshal to keep pace moving well so we waited virtually every shot. No facilities like a field restaurant or main so that sucked. No light lunch items so that sucked more. At least they had a bar cart on the course! Beer was cold.

Good, but...
Always a nice track to play but is seems to be slipping a bit in recent years. Greens aren't the quality they once were and off course amenities are completely absent. No beverage cart, no halfway hut for drinks or food, and restaurant is closed up. Sad to see a gorgeous local course going the wrong direction.

Great Course
Always love playing Upper Canada, conditions are always fantastic. Greenskeepers always have course in perfect condition. The course never disappoints and is one of the nicest in the Ottawa area. Nice layout and beautiful scenery.
What a course
This is a very challenging golf course. The white tee give you a nice challenge with is 6450 yards.
Fun to play , pretty open course , enjoyed the water holes on back nine
Overall enjoy full except for one little detail ... we had a foursome of members or locals used to the course .... and they were tailing us every holes after the 7th hole , even if it took us 2 hours to play the front and 2 hours to play the back ....
Money well spent
Played Upper Canada today. It did not disappoint. I make it a point to drive down from Ottawa 1-2 times per year (I generally only play 12-15 rounds of golf per year) to play this course because it is always in excellent condition and I really enjoy the layout. It is a good mix of relatively straightforward holes and holes that really challenge your game. There is some water involved, especially on the back nine, and a variety of doglegs that call for decision-making. All in all, Upper Canada offers enjoyable golf at a reasonable price.
