Upper Canada Golf Course
About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

Course needs some work
Pace of play was extremely slow, there were no Marshall’s, There was a group of 5 playing ahead.
Our cart had problems starting intermittently. I have played this course when it was in much better shape.
I've played Upper Canada for 30 years and this was this was the ABSOLUTE best condition I've see n the course by a mile. manicured to perfection and greens were quite simply PERFECT and FAST.
Top marks all the way around :)
Well conditioned
Best day of the year, no wind and warm. Greens were rolling some tricky pins for those short knock-ins. Restaurant was friendly, staff great. Working hard.
Thanks.
Difficult!
Have played course many times and thought the "white" tee box was setup too difficult. too many 430+ 4's and 550+ 5's. #10 at 450 into the wind...
Upper Canada GC
Great course in great condition (Sept/24). Recommended. But need to remove convenience fee on booking tee times, given you can’t call for a tee time apparently.
Course was wet and very long
The night before the course was soaked by a heavy rain storm and there was a fair amount of casual water. Was also one of the first cool days after summer heat which contributed to a tough round. Course layout is good with a lot of challenging holes. We were left with a number of 200+ yard approach shots on Par 4's so the course showed its teeth. We play the course at least once a year and this was by far the toughest it has played. Greens were slow due to the moisture in them but were running true. Staff is always great and worth the drive to play the course.
Great conditions
Got a hot deal for $25 and rented a cart which was worth it. Back 9 was slow, waited every hole. Nice greens and fairways.
Hidden gem
Fantastic course definitely recommend as a sratch golfer course was demanding off blue tees
Staff could use some training
Had a run-in with one on course staff member who seemed to be power drunk.
Found out later from another course Marshall we/I had not violated any rules. None the less I don’t like shouted at by a staff member from 150 yards away regardless if I was in violation or not.
Also, was given a handicap flag for my cart by the pro shop staff only to be told twice I shouldn’t have had because course conditions didn’t allow handicap play. I booked almost two weeks in advance with request for hdcp flag. No mention was made in the pro shop of not being able to use it. No on-line notification telling me I wouldn’t be allowed. Just urgent requests for me to check-in early on-line.
Just little sloppy over all in my opinion on the staffs part. Only one person staff person smiled or joked with us the entire day.
Best value for the money
Upper Canada is always in great shape with large greens. You need to have a strong driver to beat this course. Reds 6000yrds, whites 6500yrds and blues 6950. Great fair challenge for long hitters!
Nice course
The starter was very friendly as were the marshals. However the pace of play was very slow, it should not take 5 and a quarter hour to play a round of golf.
