Alright not spectacular
Not a bad course would play it again but wouldn't be my first choice

Not bad, but very wet.
Nice course overall, but I think they have been overwatering lately. There were lots of areas that were too wet to play on. Pace of play was fine, and the staff were very nice.
Not Bad .... But Not Good: A golf course to practice your swings.
The fairways and greens are maintained quite well, surprisingly. It is an 'okay' course if you just want to practice your swings.
There is nothing bad to say about this course, but then again, there is nothing good to say about it either.
Try it. You be the judge.
*** Note: If you book on golfnow, then most likely you'll get put on the easy "white" 9 route, which is for beginners. We were stuck behind a couple teaching there six year old child how to play golf.
We read other reviews and ask the course management to get on the "red" and "gold", we offered to pay more too, but was still stuck with the "white". A great tragedy.
This course has reasonable challenges for the average golfer
The choice of 3 courses is available giving this course more options than most in the area. However, course selection is not allowed when you book on PlayNow. Overall, the course is well maintained and does not penalize the occasional errant shot.

This course has 3 sets of nine holes, my favorite is Gold and White, Red is the easiest 9 but still challenging.
Fun day, great way to end the summer. Will be back in the fall for sure. Great course to take someone who is still learning the game, great people playing there and no preasure.

A golfer's course
The course is frequented by mostly older guys who can play. It has good greens and fairways but few amenities. A great value course that plays at a reasonable pace. Good food and drinks available after your round. Not fancy, but solid for golf enthusiasts.

Nice flat course, walkable. Three nine hole courses lots of par fives.

Not very big but maintained well, service is very good.
Great Value
This course has 3 different '9's. The first two, red and white, have 3 par 3's, 3 par 4's and 3 par 5's while the gold course is more traditional with 2 par 5's, 2 par 3's and 5 par 4's. Try and get on the gold if you can. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Not a really tough course but challenging enough for the average golfer. Super friendly staff, great little kitchen and the best bargain for Hamilton area golfers around.

Had a great time as always. The kitchen staff is friendly, and your order takes minimal time. The course is enjoyable as always, because it is challenging, and reasonable for all levels of golfers.

The course provided a moderate challenge, it's layout alows for some mishits yet if you get off the fairways you will add strokes to your score. I enjoyed the course it has matured since the last time I played it 10 years ago.

It is a peaceful course and there are many nice people there. The price is worth for the value.
Chippewa Creek Golf Course is a great value
This course is better kept than any I have played this year. The fairways are lush, the greens soft and smooth and the tee boxes
are actually penetrable with a tee. Many others are exceedingly hard. Nice practice green too. Clubhouse could use a face lift but is adequate and has an outdoor patio.

course good, golfnow poor value
The course fair and in fine shape. Enjoyable holes and layout.
Was very dissatisfied with the fluctuation in online rates ad actual price. Golfnow worked it out to be $31.50with taxes while we ended up having to pay $42 a person at the course. Thats more than a 30% difference, absolutely ridiculous and disappointing. Not to mention the $9 online fee. Very disappointing.
Also, there was a staff member with his arrogant wife trying to get ahead of our group and tee off before us. Way to represent the club.
Absolutely love this course!
Excellent facility, very well laid out. Not as challenging as others but still, great to play. Excellent value for the money. Course is extremely well maintained. My very course in and around Hamilton/Burlington.
