great conditions
booked through golf now excellent weather conditions course was in great shape will definitely be booking course again
Nice day.
Easy course, good pace of play. Would play again as it very close to my home.
good course
Good course for the confidence. Fairways are wide enough to be forgiving so if your irons are on setss up birdie chances.
like many courses in Ont. lots of winter damage
There was a tournament the same day as our foursome played. With three nine hole courses there was no delays.
Nice course
conditions not the best but most courses are suffering from the winter this year. Not a bad course with a little of everything to offer to keep your practice up.
Nice layout
Very friendly good facilities. The course is well kept and challenging but not real difficult! This is a good course for the average golfer and mixed partners.
3 nines for variety and driving range
the course has 3 nines --red white and gold -- the gold being the newest and most challenging -the white is the longest and the red the shortest -- there is very little rough to speak of but the holes are well defined - some holes with trees water comes into play on only a few holes--- the greens are very fair and are moderately fast -- the fairways are a bit long but very well maintained-- the practice area is great! a large range, practice green bunker and even a 60 yard pitching hole -- Finally the staff and customer care are top rate - its a great value for the average and weekend golfer - but may lack the style for an avid lower handicapper
Had a great time
enjoyed the two nines that we played. Pro Shop staff explained the course conditions and gave a few good tips. Kitchen was still open and staff were friendly.
End of year Value
When you play golf at the end of the year you cannot hold course to the same standards as one would in the summer. The course was very wet and I had trouble finding my ball on a number of occasions due to plugging. The greens were in decent shape. I paid $9 for 18 holes which is out of this world. That is cheaper than the driving range.
customer service not up to par
The marshall was extremely rude and obnoxious. They charged full price for a cart ($17), even though you weren't allowed to drive it on the fairway (due to wet weather.) They should have offered a discount and the staff should have been more customer friendly.
We will never go back and we will not recommend to anyone we know.
Customer service goes a long way to building your business.
The course i like not sure if I like golfnow.com
I'm disappointed with golfnow - I purchaced the round with the thought that it was 45% off but it was the same price after you add the fees and tax.. The fall prices are on now. I guise I'll have to check golf coarses first
good course well maintained not overchallenging
was a foggy day for 11 holes which added to the fun of the game.
course is well signed and this helped with each hole layout and in navigating the course.
Good value for the average golfer
nice but extremly wet that day
A different experience on golf course after lots of rain, car pat only we were advised, but this course did not have many car pats, so driving/walking in pools of water was not fun and this should NOT BE playing golf conditions by any standarts and play sb suspended , we felt
I played the white and gold nines. The course was in good shape and the nines were varied. Both nines featured water hazards and soft sand bunkers.
Overall, the course was well maintained. I was assigned the white and gold nines which is my preferred combination, with a varied layout and a good mix of trees, water and sand. With a tee time of 1230 on a Thursday the pace of play was excellent at less than 3 and a half hours. The greens were in good condition with interesting breaks. The staff were friendly. Overall, a very good value at GolfNow rates. I would definitely recommend this course.
Need to cut the fairways down a bit.
While the tee boxes and greens were in good shape, the fairways were long, and the rough was very long. Lost a couple of balls right on the fairway - must have been buried in the long grass - and that's frustrating, to hit a decent shot, then not be able to find your ball.
Forgiving fairways
This course provided forgiving fairways for those of us that are hackers. The only down side to my experience was that they had us tee off in the middle of a tournament and we had to play the same 9 holes so we weren't waiting too long for the back 9. This course has 27 holes for those that were not aware.
Three 9's for Great Value
This course has three 9's and it doesn't ever seem busy. Well maintained except for a few tee boxes. Great valve for 18 holes and a power cart. Should be able to use all of your clubs depending on which set of tees used. Recommend it.
Decent course for fair price
It lies right in-between the two towns my playing partner and I live in and works for us at Golfnow price of $38 with cart. Staff are nice,OK food, beer normal. Nice practice chipping area and driving range. Medium speed greens. ( like them faster)
good mix of challenging holes.
the staff was great, we had made an apparent booking mistake and even wtith a tournament in play, they were still able to accommodate us and for the same golf now rate!
