Greens poorly maintained.
It’s a fun short course, but the greens were atrocious which ruins the short course fun when you can’t putt without hitting a ball mark. Would have been fine with it if it was small course price but it wasn’t. Not worth paying a full course green fee for budget level greens
Long par 3’s
Fairways dry and hard. Small greens, terrible food, golf carts are very old
Greens Where????
Fairways played like 401 rock hard with pot holes, Greens rotten and bumpy and small …Southern Pines is in desperate need of repair ….was not enjoyable
Hot deals
Played this course on a hot deal with a couple buddies who don’t normally golf. Was a great pace of play but tee block yardages were wrong along with greens being in rough shape. Great beginner course if you can get on cheap
Very disappointing
To charge $60 for a cart at this course is a scandal. Tees and greens are in terrible shape. Directional signage lacks direction!!
Will not be wasting money at this course again.
Too Short
Par 3 after par 3 after par 3.. All holes look very similar the hole I just played...
Playing off cement
The course is so much over priced!!! I can play at a real nice 18 hole golf course for $42 walking!!! This course is so crappy and one person was very rude!! This course should only be $20 maybe $30 with a cart at the very most. That’s being generous!! I can’t believe people come here to play really!! All it took is one employee to ruin it all. So thanks for that!! The ground is rock hard it’s like trying to hit a ball off of cement!! It’s only a small par three course and I don’t know why people come here when you can get a way better deal at a real golf course!! Which have nicer employees and better fairways and greens. I’m not saying there isn’t nice employees here because there is especially the golf cart guy!! And some other staff!! Sorry for this but this is my second time at this place. The first time was a long time ago and the course wasn’t in great shape. Looks like they don’t care about maintaining this course and yet they charge way more than they should. What rip off. I don’t get why people play here!! Even on golf now it’s still so expensive!! Wake up people!! Sorry for the rant! But come on stop going to this over priced s&$@ course and hopefully they’ll get their act together and maintain and make it cheaper for you all!!
Tight course
This is pretty much a par 3 course with a few par 4 holes. Course conditions are not top notch. Maple seeds lay everywhere and even leaves in the beginning of June! This makes finding your ball harder even when it’s in the middle of the fairway.
The course is very tight and doubles on itself several times. This means if somebody plays bad on one hole, their balls might be flying onto your course! On the 17/18 hole transfer, you don’t know where to go without the APP. Signage is terrible.
I loved the water hazards that they had though. Very beautiful and not always found on par 3 courses.
