Great staff, Poor course
I recently golfed during the pandemic and the staff was amazing and friendly in dealing with customers. Zero issues there, however I wouldn’t play this course again. Short and scattered. Yardage marking and even gps( golf now and personal watch) were all over and incorrect. Again great staff and handling customers during this time but not a course I enjoyed playing.
It’s a short course and as women golfers we usually play from the red tees, but we played from the blues. It was more challenging for us and we really enjoyed our round.

Not happy that you called me a few hours before tee time and told me you made a mistake.
Quick round of golf
Coarse is an executive type coarse par 3s and par 4s ...some tough par 3s
.greens well kept ..fairways and tee blocks could use work and yardage to holes is not correct on some holes..if your looking for easy coarse to play this is it ...pace of play for morning round was 3 hours ....as for price it's over priced.....can play same type of coarse municipal in st catharines for 25 bucks for 18 ....do believe they could lower prices as it isnt close to being a king forest club or Cherokee or baddoe.....wouldnt play @ there summer rate prices again as there is plenty of value at other coarses outside the area .

Course was in great condition. Greens were very good. Super friendly staff. Food was excellent. Been out here probably 6 times this year and with all the rain we’ve had the course has been great. Awesome job Doug.
We at Southern Pines are sorry that your experience was not the best. The unprecedented rain has definitely challenged all the area golf courses . We would love to speak with you directly regarding all the poor ratings so that we can strive to do better.
bought a special, cart golf & food course ok, greens were horrible, worst I have splayed so far this year course was not busy, food & staff were excellent

Great course to work on your irons in good shape for early season

Good course to play with someone of a different skill level. The blue tees allow for some bigger clubs..
This is a moderately difficult and great for those who like to walk.
We happened to play on a cool damp day, however the value for the money was excellent. Good club house facilities and always friendly staff....well stocked with golf equipment. Easy access off Upper James & Airport Rd. Hamilton.
Practice Your short game
Easy course and well maintained with courteous staff. Great course to practice your irons both short and long. You do not need a driver on this course at all. Had the rare privilege of being escorted around the course by a red tail hawk which was a real treat.

Par 3 to start and end the round?
They need to look into making this a longer course. The average golfer doesn't want to play majority of par 3's. Booked through Golf Now for a good price and the pro tried to get more money out of us.
No good
Greens were in rough conditions. One actually had a puddle of water in it. Grass was too long in the rough. Tee boxes missing, markers missing.
Not enough staff, poor facilities and just over all bad experience.
