Not what it once was....
This was a private course way back when... lots of maintenance, clubhouse nice, etc.
Started to slide and was purchased by Golf North... now unkempt and the course has the look of an adandoned farm (I was told that "irrigation is expensive"...!?)
No divot repair boxes on the tees, no sand in the sand traps (just rocks and ground up dirt), etc..
Very few players on a beautiful Sunday- that tells the story!
Greens not too bad though and the layout is OK.
Only play if you get a cheap rate.
Challenging course but beautiful landscape.
They had irrigated the course so this made it more challenging for the most part- we did have to get off the course at one point for weather but came back and had no golfers in front of us to slow us down.
We have golfed here before and will do so again for sure!
pace of play
Very slow, waited for as much time as it took us to play the hole
Old style course with smaller greens
Interesting course to play with an equal number of Par 3's, 4's and 5's. Stay short of the hole since most of the greens are sloped from back to front with some more severe than others.
Variety, but green conditions could be better
6 Par 3s 6 Par 4s 6 Par 5s so enough variety, greens have been iffy lately including the 7th "bunker". Really opens up after the 6th. Lots of chances for a sprayer like me to hit driver, which I like. Staff good. Good deals on golfnow
Course under repair but still alright
Played the course 3 times over an 8 day stretch, thanks to this website!! For under $20 it's worth it but once you exceed $35 maybe look around for a course in better shape.
At least two par three tee boxes are out of use for at least the month of July which shorten up already short holes. One still gives you a tee box while the other is uneven rough cut down.
Several greens were given extra care this week but make putting more like 'plinko' which can cause a few extra shots (or save a few!) and hole 7 is tough enough but they have added a huge drop area after removing a bunker which can annoy you.
It is well worth the great deals golfnow.com offers but don't expect a really clean course
Much green and tee damage.
The course took a beating from all the ice this past winter with many damaged greens and tees. Many temporary tee boxes and a few temp. greens as replacement was necessary. Sand traps need to be re-filled with sand.
nice course
Was a great game and nice course. Just slow players.too long.
nice layout and close to my location
good value and good pace of play. no waiting time.
Very good
Lucky to have such a nice course, not as wet as last week
eccellent value
Had grand time. I should have played the forward tee blocks. My bad . I'm 75 years old and will play the course again.
temporary greens!
I've played this course a number of x...and never have seen temporary greens. I guess can't complain for the price to play ($12...cart included)
still a little soggy
this course was still wet and soggy and it had 3 or 4 temporary greens. but since I got a hot deal foursome for 11.30$ each it was worth it
First game
The fairways and greens were surprisingly in good condition. Lots of leaves, brush and branches still lying around. 4 temporary greens which kind of ruin the hole but what can you do. Dundee is a great course, one of my regulars.
In Good shape
For so late in the year the course is well maintained and holding up well to all the rain.
Scenic course within an easy drive of KW
I arrived at 12:30pm on the 15th for a 1pm tee-time, was welcomed, given the key to my cart promptly as a driving single player... and was advised to tee-off right away... due to the 2 walking 4somes right before my 1pm!. Thanks Dundee! It was a beautiful day, course was obviously a bit wet...but very playable and always a favourite local course for its scenic nature.. Greens were in good shape, although a few of the tee boxes could use attention. I've always liked Dundee's even mix of holes, and given the great price I paid at Golf Now, it was a very nice day out.
Course different as it has 6 par threes, 6 par fours, and 6 par fives.
Course okay, but bunkers are terrible. Don't know how to describe it, but I would not classify it as sand in the bunker.
Would not recommend this course, chiefly because of the contents in the bunkers.
Challenging enough for beginners to medium ability golfers
Friendly greeings and efficient service at the pro-shop. The course was well maintained. Would consider playing there again.
Always enjoyable to play
I have played this course before and found it to be well kept and challenging with a good variety of holes. I enjoy playing it with its mature trees and rolling fairways ( with the changing of the leaves, this autumn, it was especially gorgeous). My only issue was, due to heavy rains this past week-end, power carts were not allowed which were included in the Golf Now price. We did survive the walk, even though, my buddy was just recovering from hip surgery this summer, and it turned out to be a great day.
This course is valued with price
As just after raining, the course was some soft, and as the season, too many dropped leaves and not easy to find the ball
