Dundee Country Club

When you approach the Pro Shop you are greeted with the most beautiful pond with a fountain. This serves as a backdrop for an arbor set amidst rocks and flowers for wedding photos! Stunning. The Starter gave a detailed overview of the course and the challenging holes. We played at mid day on Friday. Not too busy. Weather was perfect, fairways in excellent condition and the greens weren't too fast. Almost every hole had some landscaping or flowers near the tee area.

Only problem was that we were following a group doing their Match play and they were slow and we needed to wait at every hole.

Other then the greens the course was like playing on my lawn. I couldn't see a fairway on any hole. And if there was a fairway it had lots of weeds.

We played the front 9 in great time and then the back 9 took 2:45 minutes and never saw the marshall.
When we finished the back 9, the marshall's cart was sitting at the club house.

quick round at just over 4 hours on a Sunday aft. no one in front or behind. 5 par 5's at Dundee, decent shape.

I have never experienced a 5hrs & 40 mins round of golf for a 2some before!

I wouldn't be rushing back to this course anytime soon.

Your course is challenging and in very nice shape.

Need to be a big hitter. Greens were fast and challenging. Poor sand quality in bunkers.

We enjoyed this course very much. All was lush and green and after all the rains, there was no standing water or wet spots to affect play...good drainage. The greens were in good shape and ran true with moderate speed. The scenery is nice all around and offers vestiges of stately trees and beautiful flower beds. This course had 6 holes each of par 3, par 4 and par 5, so very interesting. Some of the par 5's are long and challenging over small creeks and hazards. Fairways are forgiving if a little off, but, not too far or the fields and trees will cause the extra stroke. All was very well maintained and groomed to perfection. Play was at a good speed and we would play this course again.

I was impressed! The course looked great - very nicely landscaped - nicely groomed. Was a great round and we will go back!

The bunkers needs to have some sand added so your not hitting gravel and it would be nice if they cut the rough. Very difficult to find balls that are just off the fairway as the grass was so high it would cover them. a better job marshaling would also be a move in the right direction.

The course was in amazing condition. However, the bunkers had a lot of small stones in them. It has 6 of each pars which really gives you a fantastic variety. All the holes have their own unique challenges which makes for a fun day of golf. Overall, this is one of my favorites in the area.

Got a great deal on golf now for this course, although time of year and temperature dictated this deal I assume !! Anyhow we played the course, enjoyed it greatly, APART from 5 degree temp, too many leaves, which led too to many lost balls !!!! I will definitely go back and play again next season just to play the course in better conditions, and hopefully improve on my dismal score this time !!! The course is typical parkland with relatively generous width fairways, but beware if you miss it from the tee !! Some of the greens were small and on two levels which require good accurate approach shots. Speed of greens were pretty good for mid October, so I would expect fast greens in peak season. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a good challenge.

Our party of 3 arrived in 2 separate vehicles (1 around 35 kms, the other around 20 kms) only to find out the course was closed for maintenance, This should never have happened, since the club could have easily called GolfNow and instructed to suspend tee times while shut down. We were given rain checks but were still out our cost of getting there and back. To shut down to course to aerate the greens this close to the end of the season is bizarre. Why not just wait a couple of weeks and do it then? I played there recently and trust me the greens were fine. What a waste of a trip!

NICE COURSE...BUT..TOO MANY PLAYERS! PACKED IN LIKE SARDINES, NO ATTENTION TO DRESS CODE...TANK TOPS, CUT OFFS, GYM SHORTS...5 1/2 HOURS PLUS FOR 18 HOLES...GOT THE FEEL FROM OTHER PATRONS THAT THIS IS THE "GOLFNORTH" WAY TO DO THINGS....LOVE GOLFNOW BUT WILL STAY CLEAR OF GOLFNORTH PROPERTIES!!!, ANDREW

the fairways, greens, T blocks are all well maintained. Greens where perfect. Couldn't ask for better course conditions to play on!

Course condition was not the best. Walked off the course because after 4 1/2 hours we were on the 13 hole. staff thought this was acceptable and found it amusing.

It's very well maintained course. Good for the money.

New Dundee is a great course to play, very mature trees and excellent fairways. There appears to have been quite a bit of rain recently but the course is in great shape and the greens are not saturated. Pace of play was busy but moving quickly with minimal waiting on tee boxes.

Expected a bit more from this course, some fairways lacking good grass making harder to have a good hit greens were good, no ranger to move the couple guys in front that made this round not wanting to play this course
