Beechwood Golf & Social House sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with natural water features and trees, providing a terrain that is ideal for golf. The championship layout features fast, undulating greens and carefully contoured fairways. Ponds come into play throughout along with meandering creeks and streams. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers in play. Beechwood Golf & Social House's finishing hole is notable for both the scenery and challenges it offers. To begin the hole you need a precise drive between out-of-bounds on the left and a creek to the right that cuts into a landing area, and then you must make a skillful second shot to a triple-tiered green that slopes towards the creek's edge.

Looking forward to coming back
The pace of play was slow, but we weren’t in a hurry. I really liked the course, but it was quite wet in a lot of areas. Looking forward to coming back to try it out on a drier day and when the improvements are done.
Beachwood
Fairways were in excellent shape. First nine moved quickly but back nine was slow with lots of twosomes. No starter when we began at 2:00. Greens were not in great shape as there had been a tournament. Course layout is great. Nice challenges. Limited food at bar. Would still come back.
Pretty trees, accommodation staff, good value.
We enjoyed our day. Some greens were a bit patchy, but not from neglect. Other than that, everyone was friendly, the pace of play was good. The beer carts were out and we enjoyed some pretty views while knocking the ball about.
Course needs work but good round
Was a good round of golf for a good price, definitely needs work on the cart path and work on the greens specially when people aren't fixing thier divot holes, leaves a hard green to putt.
Fun course to play
Love the layout of the course, nice selection of holes however it was a day after the heavy rains and they were a lot of wet spots on the fairways. The cart paths are need of fixing up.
However will play the course again, but not after heavy rain.
Scenic
Terrific scenery. Layout really good. Unfortunately the day I played the course was receiving a great deal of care and feeding. Held up the round a little. Only real issue for me was the cart paths - in some cases almost treacherous, needs to be cleaned up. Definitely I would recommend this course.
Improved
We were impressed by the conditions of the fairway as well as greens and tee boxes. Course is nicely laid out with lots of water challenges. It is obvious that management is working on improvements. Only negative would be quality of sand. Staff were friendly.
