About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Bunkers were terrible when they were available. Looks like they were trying to replace some, but they were still there just all full of weeds and grass and hard pan.. very goofy layout. The halfway house closed early couldn’t get service at the turn look like a ghost town by the end of our round.. would definitely not play here again.
Challenging Course
Fairways and greens are in pretty decent shape considering the area has had some pretty hot weather as of late. Bunkers full of weeds and very dry tee boxes need to be addressed to get the courses ratings up. The price paid with a cart was thumbs up.
You need to do something with the green side bunkers ,fill them in with dirt and seed them if you are not going to put sand in them the course is nothing like it used to be when it had the beautiful bunkers
Nice course
One comment I'd make is the signage for hole direction could be better. We were guessing often where the next hole was.
Fair price point
I don’t get why they don’t have sand/seed on the carts nor do they encourage fixing divots or ball marks. Could be so much nicer if people fixed theirs!! But can’t complain about the price at least, fair for the course conditions

Great, beautiful course. Great price for an awesome course.
Traps
They should fill bunkers properly and forget about sand other than 9 and 18.
The first par 5 should be back farther for white tees.
Awesome Course
Great course for the money. Fairways and greens are great quality, and there is a good variety in shape of each hole. Some of the bunkers are not well maintained, but to be honest I think this made them easier to play out of haha!
Course was in great shape, are twosome was matched with another twosome and we had a great time
Excellent course for a nice day out for a great price
A little confusing with the signage moving hole to hole but do appreciate the 5 passes of the halfway house.

They added sand but course sand. The sand added on 9 greenside bunkers look good. All others garbage
