About
The Meadow Nest Course is one of two 18-hole courses at Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club. The club also offer an executive, nine-hole course. Meadow Nest is the longer and tighter of the two courses. Silver Creek meanders through 10 of the 18 holes. The golf course features rolling, bent grass fairways an abundance of water hazards throughout. The back nine is covered in mature trees and numerous bunkers, making accuracy a priority in scoring well. Two notable holes on the course are the 10th and 12th, which share a unique double green. The golf course is challenging, but four tee decks allow golfers to adjust the game to their abilities.

awesome staff
fantastic course, right from valet to end of game, staff is the most friendliest around, cart girl comes around numerous times, marshals are ever present and helpful and the best around. food is great and reasonably price, course is well groomed, best greens around i have playe, only negative is bunkers are hard most times, but allows for free drop lol
Great Course
Very impressed with the challenging layout .The quality of the greens were fast and consistent even in wet conditions. This is a great course for a mid to low handicap golfer. Accuracy needed off the tee.
Nice fairways
Found front nine had wide fairways, back nine was more narrow but still generous.

The course is good for the average golfer. It is in average shape. Good value for the price paid. Very friendly staff. Slow rate of play, were waiting on every hole.

Course was in excellent condition in spite of the dry weather.
Constant Interruptions throughout play
I have played this course for many years and consider the course to be one of the better ones in the area. I'm a local resident and enjoy the facilities at this course. The one complaint that I have is the constant interruptions of marshalls speeding by and not taking into consideration the players. Marshalls can be seen on every 3rd hole, spying and noting down your speed. It seems that this course wants to take your money and get you off the course as quick as possible.
Disappointing that it is like that.
Awesome Experience
This course is worth the drive and offers a great golf experience. The course and the conditions are excellent, but it's the staff that is as good as any I have encountered in 40 years of golf: public or private. Cathy, the starter is a true pro! Very friendly, very organised, and totally aware of who's on the course and where. We felt like the King and Queen of Sheeba! What a great day.

We love this course and play here atleast once a year. It is 140 km drive for us.
The course is interesting. Some of the greens are tricky. Overall it is challenging but not too tough.

We enjoy playing playing Hawk Ridge , good conditions overall, greens OK not rolling true as yet maybe too early in the season, some very challenging holes, will play again if visiting this part of Ontario region

Very good, we did not rate the food as we did not have any, but I am sure if it reflects the entire package it is very good.
Very nice course-fast greens-great condition
We played the Timber Ridge course. I was in beautiful shape. The layout was very eye appealing. I played from the blues and found it challenging as well as fair.
The entire staff from pro shop, bag drop, starter and beverage cart were very friendly. The only bad thing was we were "forced" to have another 2some join us on number 2. One particular gentleman was very slow...seemed to loose a ball every hole and ended up making our round last almost 5 &1/2 hours. Never seen a marshal and I'm sure those behind us were no pleased.

Where is the marshall
The course was lovely and in good shape. Check in was underwhelming as in the bag boy couldn't be bothered to help remove the bags from the car nor put them on the cart.
The pace of play was terrible with no marshall to move things along. If this is the norm, I will never play this course again. Waited on every shot on every hole, while players ahead were not remotely concerned about keeping play moving. Finally jumped ahead on 15 only to find the next 3 holes wide open. Very disappointing for the price.
enjoyable
Course is very flat with stragicaly place traps. There are a few blind shots. Ideal course for walking. Played as a twosome behind some foursomes. Twosome behind us kept hitting into us so the third time we had to reprimand them. Other then that it was a very enjoyable round.
