Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Hawk's Island
       About
Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club offers two 18-hole courses and one par-3, executive course. The golf courses are spread across nearly 400 acres of ponds and mature forests. Hawk’s Island is the nine-hole course, situated southeast of the other 36 holes at the club. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some undulation in the large, bent grass greens. The signature hole of the golf course is No. 5, which requires a downward approach shot to a tricky island green that is flanked by bunkers on both sides. The Hawk’s Island Course is ideal for juniors or beginners, but it is also great for golfers who just want a quick but challenging round.

T boxes need to be resodded on some holes on the meadow/nest course otherwise great place to play wide fairways allow for miscues off the tee.
Love This Course
My husband and I tried this course for the first time a couple of weeks ago, but played the Timber course. It was great so we decided to try Meadow Nest this time. We liked it so much we booked another round the next day.
The course is in great condition. Some of the tee blocks need a bit of work, but not too bad. The course is challenging enough to make it worthwhile, but fair. When we played, on Saturday, we had no one in front of us and finished 18 holes in 3 hours. Unfortunately, on Sunday, there was an extremely slow foursome in front of us, who clearly didn’t care about making us wait for several minutes on each hole, but we still finished in just under 4 hours.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Definitely recommend checking out this course.
Nice layout
Fair layout. Nice greens. Loved the overall impression of the facility. We're planning a foursome for July 18.
The course seems to be getting worse over the years. Tees blocks in bad shape. Greens got rough grass/dirt spots. Hoping they can turn it around because it's a good course
No Marshall
Very slow pace of play. One foursome.held up several groups. More than once three groups were backed up at the tee block waiting for the idiots. They would not let players pass. Sad thing is there was no Marshall to move them along.
Very Friendly Staff
Greens are in great shape. Tee decks were pretty chewed up. I would guess they get lots of play there. Played on a very cold windy day. Place was empty so place if play was great. It’s ok book it!

You obviously played the Island, which is not comparable to the rest of the course. I'm quite shocked by this comment as they typically have 2 marshalls at all times. One on the front (Meadow) and the back 9 (Timber). So pull up your big boy pants and play the full course and then comment.
