Fabulous !!
Staff and course were amazing. Everyone was very friendly from the pro shop staff, marshall, right to the cart girl. We had a great experience all around.
Course is tough but in great shape !
Very good course, lot of position playing to score well (doglegs).
The course was challenging since I only played it once 15 yrs ago, it has greatly improved since then. The green were fast, fairways were in good shape, playing for position was sometimes more important than distant for an amateur golfer. The only bad thing was flag were navy blue, when they were in back positions and needed to have a marking on them in a lighter colour so you could see them better from a distance. The other positions on green were ok because they were brighter colours. I would play it again.
Nice course, great staff
Played on a busy Saturday afternoon and therefore the round was a little bit long, but expected. Lots of fun holes that give the average golfer legitimate birdie chances. Will definitely play again.
Slow play
Very slow play had to wait every hole the last 3 holes had 2 groups waiting at a time. Tee times need to be spaced out more or maybe a ranger needed to improve pace of play
Challenging Course
The Fairways are lined with trees making it important to hit straight drives. The greens were very receptive and were fairly fast. Overall a good experience. Planning to play this course again
Nicest course in the area
Yes there is a "nicer" course, but not even close for the money. The course was in very good shape too. Greens were excellent.
No beer cart lady and no way of getting to the club house to get a drink or food after 9 holes with the course layout. Course was in good shape for the time of year. Driving range is in good shape. I have golfed 5 different courses this year wiarton, northern dunes, the deerhurst resort 9 hole course, scenic city, and I would rank this only above scenic city due to course layout and a lack of being able to get food and a drink between front and back nine.
