Always a great course to play!
I have been playing at Stone Tree since I was a kid. I didn't understand the sport then, but I always enjoyed the course. Now as an adult, this has become my "home course" so to speak. The prices are fair, the course is well maintained and the staff and golfers are always friendly. If you are new to golf or an expert, I highly recommend coming here for a round or five. Its always an enjoyable time.
Nice day
Weather was great .course is in good shape.greens and tees are well maintained.other than finding the second hole brutally hard for my skill level nothing bad to say.and even that is more about my play than the course.highly recomend
Course marshal
Was great to golf, cant beat the price for the course. Was a little disappointed when we got yelled at by the course marshal on hole 16 about it being cart path only and when we explained we were never told, he answered back by saying “oh ya we didn’t put out the sign this morning” … so he knew we didn’t know and it wasn't raining at the time. So the normal human reaction should have be to ask us to do cart path only and that they had forgotten to mention it to us instead of yelling at us when he knew we weren’t told and then he followed us for the whole next hole. Ive been golfing for 20 or so years now and have worked at georgian bay club and lora bay club, I understand the rules of golf and respect the game, and to be treated like we are 16 year old children being in a golf cart for the first time doesn’t make me want to come back. We showed him respect and apologised for doing it but he didn’t show nearly the same amount of respect for two golfers, not drinking, not playing loud music, just trying to enjoy our first round of the season.
Spring Conditions
Aeration was being done on one green and most of the others hadn't yet recovered from this process.
Still a great challenging layout.
