Always a Pleasure
While Perth is a bit of drive from Ottawa East, we try to play Links O'Tay at least once a year. Billed as the oldest golf course in Canada, the course features two quite different experiences between the original front nine and the newer back. This year, the course is in particularly good condition so it's well worth a visit.

Old course design
Great old course design. Great layout to have fun, but challenging. Course in great shape. The green are fast and challengng. Staff is helpful and freiendly. Tee off Sunday at 8AM and finished in less than 4 hours. Just a great country golf course and worth my 1 hour drive from Ottawa.

Attractive, well maintained course presents plenty of challenges
Perth Golf Course is a visually appealing, well-manicured, mature course with enough trees, bunkers and water to ensure a challenging round. The course was in great shape and the staff were very professional and friendly. Even though it was a busy Saturday, we managed to get our round completed in 4:30.

Secret Gem
We played this course and absolutely enjoyed it. Fairways and greens were in great shape. We had to wait on a few holes so perhaps the pace could have been quicker but we were done in about 4 hours 30 minutes including a stop for lunch after 9 so not horrendous.

Nice track
Regular price, not worth it. If you can get a deal, jump on it! Great track in really good condition. Beer is expensive and it was super slow. 4 2somes in a row, waited on every shot, no marshals. Worth the hot deal price!
Worth Playing
Nicely laid out and maintained course for those who want to enjoy golf, the setting, and the company, and don't see each game as an epic adventure. The course is of moderate length from the blue tees (6300 yds) and has enough variety and up and down to be interesting. Compared to metropolitan courses the green fees are good value.

the fairways on front nine in deplorable shape- rough, rough, rough!!!
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize you felt the fairways were poor. We feel rolling and bumpy terrain on the front 9 is common with courses designed during this period and provides character to the layout that is celebrating it's 125th anniversary. We hope you come back for another round, perhaps you would like to try our 9 hole option and you can tee off of the back 9.
Course was well maintained and nice
I would recommend this course, pace was good overall nice course and very good value check it it out - GPS didn't pick it up on the S2

Beautiful Course
Staff were very friendly. The course was in excellent shape.The greens rolled true. The fairways were in excellent shape.All the tee boxes were well maintained. I even loved the bunkers.The round took just less than 4 1/2 hrs even though it was a Saturday. I highly recommend this course.

Great greens
The greens were very nice. Spongy enough to stick a ball, but still fast to put.
Fairways were a bit too wet, with ruts from previous dummies who drive the cart across wet areas.
Staff were professional
Very picturesque course with different challenges on each hole.
The down side was the mogels or small bumps all over the fairway. They made driving the cart very bumpy and the ball didn't roll very far.

Nice tight course
Course is in good shape although recent rain has made some fairways rather water logged. Small greens puts premium on approach shots. Very friendly course with some challenging holes. Good value for money

Great, aside from standing water everywhere
Great par 71 course with a lot of hazards and some small, undulating greens. The only gripe we had was the drainage - either the drainage is very poor, or, more likely, the amount of rain lately has made this course a VERY wet one. Being waterproof shoes as even some fairways were spongy and course saturated.
Hopefully the course dries up soon, as is a great layout and a scenic course.

Great course
Greens in great shape and fast! Overall great condition and fun course to play. Enough room for amateurs but a challenge with water too. Is cool that it's the oldest course in the country too.
