Beginner's luck
Fun and not too long; good for beginner
Some water challenges but few sand traps
Change of elevation on some a nice change from majority of course which is fairly flat and generally short
Average course in good condition
For fun golf links style with lots of opportunities to play some bad tee shots.
Very interesting course with several ditches.
This course is an average course that is well maintained and the owners are excellent to deal with.
We were able to play the complete round of 18 without any delays.
Very Pleased
The staff was very pleasant. The course is well maintained. short, medium and long holes. Well laid out and a great deal. I will be going back again.
Great course for a quick, no fuss round.
Has some major drainage issues but it's close by and it's easy to get through it quickly.
This course was quite nice for the novice golfer
Our foursome had a wonderful time and found the course not to difficult. We are all novice golfers and enjoyed our game with very little frustration.
Less than average course
If you can get a green fee to this course for under 20$, then it might be worth it to get out for a quick practice in a close location. Otherwise, I would go somewhere else. The course just isn't very good... It isn't visually pleasing, the fairways are unimpressive, and the holes are poorly designed and almost absent of traps. Very easy course and good value for the money if you are a novice trying to figure out your shots, but I would take my money elsewhere. The greens are acceptable and the staff is very courteous however.
This course is located beside the Trent Severn waterway and s a short but plesant course.
We played on the weekend and course was busy.
We were behind a family with young children learning to play.
The Marshal arranged for us to Play by. It was not necessary as the family had already spoken to us and we were going to play by on the next hole .Fairways were in good condition. Staff were picking up Broken T's as they monitored players. Beverage cart came around several times.Greens were in decent shape. This was the first time we played here and we will go back again.
Good for practice of short shots and club control
Greens need a lot of attention considering water is available, design of holes could be better, nothing worse than opening with an 85 yard par 3, if it was not for the specials of golf now it is a very stroke for stroke an expensive golf course
great for beginners
I took my little sister here for her first time golfing. Got a great HOT deal. We had the course all most to are selves. So its great for BEGINNERS!!!
small but mighty
12 par 3, 6 par 4 par 60 course. Not a single easy hole on the course. None of the par 3s were full clubs, challenging every shot you had in your bag. The rough is deadly. If you venture off the fairway and are lucky enough to find your ball in the links style rough....good luck on your next shot. The rough swallows your club head speed. There were times where a sandwedge seemed right, but a full 9 came up short. The greens could have been shorter and definitely signs of neglect by players that required some work. Loved it in fairway...hated in rough. A challenge for sure.
A Lift and Lock at Liftlock Golfland
Good value at this course. With friendly staff and an average and sometimes challenging course particularly for novices. Upon arrival, they had my time booked and Golfnow booking information right at hand however they were unaware that a bucket of driving range balls came with the package. This was easily corrected as I had brought my own booking time information. A bit of a miscommunication that could easily be sorted out by Golfnow and golf course. It was a great round that lifted my game and locked me in for returning for another round.
Don't waste your time...
The greens are fairway length, fairways are 2nd cut length and the "2nd cut" is rough. Brutal. 3300 yards from the whites, golf and cart was $21.50. We should be getting paid to play this "course"!!!!
A decent executive course, reasonably well maintained.
The course is a moderately easy course, quite enjoyable and for most players it can be finished in under 3 1/2 hrs.
It has a club house and restaurant, currently being refurbished , with a nice outdoor patio.
it also has a driving range and a practice green.
One draw back is, It does have some very soft fairways with some surface water when there have been recent heavy rains.
horrible customer service ranger accused me of being a liar poorly managed facility

Fun little course.
For an executive course it was very good. It took just over two hours for two of us to play 18 holes with no one in front of us. The grass on the rough was very long and should be cut. The grass is still growing and not going to get any better but at this time of year they don't know how much longer the course will be open. (16 Oct.12) At the price I will play it again. Well done GolfNow.
One of the Baby Course.
Too short course and not regular course.
And if player want to rent a power cart, player should be care cart. Because when player take the cart, they check the all of the scratch of cart's body.
If player make the any kinds of scratch, should be payment them.
good course at great value
Great value for a small course
Keep it coming next year
Well laid out.
This course from start to finish is a easy going course featuring a few challenging holes.Nice easy course for a quick game of golf.
