About
Benbrook Lake provides the perfect setting for this unique little 9-hole par 3. Excellent views and short holes with elevated green draw the folks to Frank and Debbie Reynold’s place. Water even comes into play on a few holes, and they’ve even gone to the trouble of spotting the course with several bunkers. No. 2 is the best: a full 8 iron with water looming left. You’ll feel the machismoness when you nail this green.
You can pay once and play all day, and even extend the golf orgy into the darkness of night, since they’ve lighted the course.
Getting there : Take I-30 west to Hwy. 820 and turn south. Drive 1 mile to Winscott Rd. and turn left. Beach is .5 mile down. Turn right and you’ll see the course.

ok, but some players do not know what pace of play is. Need a sign to the slower players to let faster players play through.
Fun and quick round
Staff is super laid back and friendly. I've been twice and I already feel like a regular. Some greens are in rough shape but what do you expect for the price? I played 2 balls for 9 holes in less than an hour. Great course to improve your game.
Ok for a quick round
Not a bad place if you're just looking to take your shortest irons. Very short course so great practice on your shirt game. Wouk recommend for someone bringing a new person that hasn't played golf before or little kids
waste of money
The greens had large spots of dead grass and even larger spots where it was just dirt. I went to the par 3 course instead of the driving range to practice and even though I only paid $5 it was not worth it.
NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED
100 DEGREES AND NO WATER, GREENS IN POOR SHAPE HALF OF THE GREENS HAD MUD HOLES ON THEM. I WOULDNT PLAY THE COURSE AGAIN IF YOU PAID ME TOO.
Not well maintained
the greens had divots down to the dirt below and dead spots and the rest of the grass looked the same as the grass in the field behind my house.
great for beginners of all ages
Excellent course for an inexpensive short 9 hole game. it's great for beginner players like my brother and great for children just learning to golf. You can't beat the price and the gentleman at the counter was super nice. it was a pleasant experience. The course needs some attention but please don't raise the prices!!
This is a great course for beninner golfers.
I am a new to the sport. This course gives a variety of challenges. The course could use some maintenance but when the cost is less than $10 to play, it's really a great value. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My only complaint involved other people who would steal my ball after a wayward shot.
Very Good Short Game Course and Great for Kids
The course manager was extremely nice and was mowing the greens himself while I was playing. He even gave tips on how to play certain holes based on the wind direction. The greens are a little shoddy but for $6 for 9 holes that's to be expected. The water on holes 3 and 6 make the course challenging for beginners and kids. Hole 4 is 177 yards but plays much longer with the wind blowing towards you. Club selection is critical on this course. It's better to hit it short of the greens to get up and down for a par. If you hit past the green it's almost impossible to get a par or even a bogey.
The First Tee of Fort Worth kids play there free if they are part of the organization. The First Tee program should donate money to the course to get the greens redone in my opinion.
Overall a good course for working on your short game.
This course will help you on club selection.
If your game needs fine tunning this is an nice course to play.
Not in the best shape, but nevertheless to zero in on your greens cant beat this especially when factoring in the wind from off the lake.
Enjoyed this course I recomend it to golf players at all levels of play.
Course is always in very good condition
Great course to inprove your short game. Water hazards that test you skill.
