North Granite Ridge Golf Club

About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

Challenging but fun
A good drive puts you on the green in two. Beautiful course, good fun for the cost.
Nice course great value
Course is in great shape. Great value for the money. Moderate difficulty.
Great course, very tight though. Have to be playing well, or accurate, especially through the back nine. Some minor renovations could really help this course. Trim the trees back, open it up a bit! Otherwise great golf course. Greens, fairways, tee decks all in good shape.

What a course !
Had the opportunity to play NGR on Canada day. Off the hop staff was amazing and inviting. Greens, fairways and tee blocks are all fantastic. Ran into the superintendent Gord and made sure to tell him the course is immaculate! Had a great round and can’t wait to be back! Thanks NGR, one of my favourite courses
Amazing course

North Granite Ridge w buddy
Public course in Muskoka is in good condition, right after torrential rains on weekend, and is a good value compared to similar courses.
Great job maintenance and improving the course! Nice to see the lot all paved. Greens were excellent condition
Beautiful course
Well any time you can spend your afternoon in a spot as awesome as
North Granite Ridge it's always going to be a great day. Altho having experienced the best conditions this course has to offer on more than one occasion I have to say that there are many places the grass didn't grow this year which has made for some very dead areas. I mean even the best course can suffer if conditions remain dry for too long and this year so far North Granite Ridge has suffered with this problem. Maybe because I have seen it at its best and when it's like that it is just impeccable. Don't get me wrong it's nothing a lift and place rule can't fix because it's still always an awesome day if North Granite Ridge is where you're at. So make the best of the day and enjoy the picturesque views and if you throw a few great shots in there and it'll be a day that's tough to beat.
2 Things to Know
1. No balls in the forest, pretty sure they search and use them as range balls.
2. Very tight, you will probably lose lots of balls
