North Granite Ridge Golf Club
About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

Pictures Don't Tell The Story?
The course is in ruff shape, dry, hard and lots of bare spots where the grass has died. They are very short staffed, so the service is slow and the menu is very limited. The course is way over priced for the service and conditions you have to play in. I would not recommend it!!
Canadian Shield Golfing
Course is cut right out of the Muskoka landscape offering challenging elevation changes, tight fairways and excellent green surfaces. Enjoyable from any tee block but don’t hesitate to try #3 from the back tees. Classic.
Good Times- best value
This was about my 8th time playing here in summer. The factors under the staffs control were excellent, the dry spell and poor choice of approach clubs you can’t control!! The greens I hit held but you have to account for the bounce and roll in these dry times. Staff at reception, bag drop and cart service were friendly and hd a good sense of humour. Thanks for keeping the things under your control fun!
North Granite
Tight course, greens were in surprisingly good condition. Tee decks were in rough shape,.
Considering the heat of the past cpl of weeks, course was in better shape then expected.
Great conditions 2020
What a scenic Muskoka course. Terrific condition. The greens are smooth and fast for summer. Mother Nature cooperated. Staff were excellent. Wished they had Guinness beer. Great job. Would love to join if I lived here.
Everything about today’s round was positive.
From start to finish the entire experience was great.
Great Approach and Finish
The staff at club drop/cart pick up were awesome and helpful with co-vid protocol steps. Pro shop reception, all staff were pleasant. The pace of play was excellent despite the multiple carts for groups. Monday afternoon gold should always be this relaxing.
Needs New Ownership!!
This course used to be the jewel of the Muskoka's and now it's the worst course in the Muskoka's. Staff changes constantly, the course is beat up and run down with lots of bare spots. It's not a friendly atmosphere, but that is not the staff's fault. Won't play this course again unless new ownerdhip takes over and puts some money into it.
Went from Beautiful to Very Poor Condition.
This course used the be the best hidden gem in the Muskoka's, but has gone down hill ever since knew ownership took over about seven years ago. They raised the price and lowered all the services and it has taken its toll on the course. It's too bad you don't have to qualify to take over ownership of a golf course. I would not recommend this course to anyone right now. it's in ruff shape , there is no service, and the pace of play is extremely slow.
Great course as long as you're not paying full price
I play this course once or twice each season when up visiting at a friend's cottage in the area.
The course is a little tight, winding through the forest, so make sure to hit it straight or bring a few extra balls!
Nice topography and lay out. Conditions are usually pretty good. Course isn't usually that busy so pace of play also seems to usually be pretty good.
Course is not walk-able, and I believe carts are mandatory and included in the price. I would say anything under $75 all-in is a reasonable price to pay for this course in prime time.
