About
Tamarack Ridge Golf Course is a public 18-hole course situated just 10 minutes east of London, Ontario. The course is laid across gently rolling hills and valleys blanketed with trees. There is also a stream that wanders through the layout that comes into play on a few holes as well as contributing to the tranquil setting. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. The hilly landscape provides undulating fairways and greens and elevated tee boxes with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The clubhouse at Tamarack Ridge sits at the highest point on the course and it is known for offering the best views.

Aeration Underway
I booked a Hot Deal to play Tamarack Ridge. I have played this course before and quite enjoy the layout. Unfortunately there was nothing to advise that we would be playing the back 9 twice since the front 9 was closed in order to aerate the greens. I took a golfer who had not played Tamarack previously so it was disappointing to discover the front 9 closed upon arrival. We had pre-paid the Hot Deal so we had no options available to us.
Good value
Not too easy, not too tough, great value for the average golfer.
Great course, challenging and lots of fun
Have golfed here a few times and the course is always in good condition and has great prices
carts?
The carts are so dirty and many in need of repair, flat tires, windshields falling off, etc. Course is nice.
Good time!
3 of us went, first time playing course for all, all of us enjoyed the course.. nice layout! Not overly difficult which is good for the average golfer.. not really a long ball course, more course management needed.. only down fall is hydro lines through course. All in all solid 4/5
Good round greens not great
Course is really interesting, a bit tight in spots. Greens were not great and inconsistent. But a good round anyway.
Interesting course
Interesting layout with some really good challenging holes. Only real problems were that there was no starter & some golfers probably should have quit after 9 holes - the further they went the slower they got! Most golfers were courteous & let me play through making for a fast front 9 holes but then I struck the foursome who wouldn't let me through & they were slooooooooow!
Excellent value for money playing this course & it will present a challenge to most golfers on many holes.
fun course
basically a tree-lined course, but open enough for the odd wayward drive. A couple of quirky but challenging holes. Extreme undulating greens. No straight putts at Tamarack. Course is in good shape.
Great Country Course
Played this place this morning. It was raining pretty good, which the course can't be faulted for, even still, it dried up by my 6th hole.
The course is a great place to spend a round with some friends, it wasn't overly difficult to play, but it was pretty to look at and had more than a few shots that left you blind or really considering your options.
Wide and undulating fairways make it pretty easy to keep the ball in the short stuff, fairly forgiving that way, short game is as easy or hard as you make it on yourself but there were some fun elevation changes to play with.
Greens ran fast even in the rain, big greens but decent slopes on them make no shots a gimmie but I'm probably no where near as good as my putting today would have me believe.
The only real cons I found on the day were that the signage for holes and carts was a little lacking, but it certainly isn't the end of the world.
Long story short, for the price I paid, this course was well worth it and should find it's way into any rotation as a great warm up course to something more challenging.
Exceeded expectations
Unlike some of the reviews carts were newer, course was well maintained and staff were very friendly.

Good for the Price
I have played this course several times over the years and I have seen it in various conditions. Usually spring has some wet spots and the grass is kept a little longer. The course is not overly hard however you do have to make your shots and I would more often have an iron in my hand then a wood. Still for $20 tax incl. walking twilight rate with a burger and fries really hard to beat and enjoyable to play.

Double tee boxes and pretty rough cart paths also side by side fairways are a negative. I enjoyed the back 9 more. there burger fries drink with golf sounds good.
Hot day on the golf course
The greens were very fast. Course in real good shape.
Unfortunately we had a thunderstorm on the back nine and could not quite finish - safety first!
