No control
Had a 12 o'clock tee time. Get there and there are 12 golfers ahead of us who are teeing off but have times after us. They were honest and let us play through. Pace of play terrible. Course overful. Greens fuzzy and slow. Course needs a starter at tee and rangers out on course to pick up the pace. I like the layout but otherwise not such a great day. If you can play somewhere else if you are a d cent golfer. Otherwise hack away.
Horrible customer service
Played the front 9 no issues other then poor fairways. Other then the group a couple holes behind us it was great. Came to the turn to find 4 groups ahead of us. Ended up only being 2 with three carts for one group. Asked why this had happened to be told I could skip the hole and go around if I so chose. Why did they end up in front? They took over an hour for lunch and decided it was finally time to play again. All other courses serve a hot dog or sandwich at the turn not a full sit down meal that then jams up the back 9 for everyone! They teed off an hour prior to us but we're right in front of us now.
I will not be back and will not advise others to book this course.
Meh (It was Alright)
Shortish course in "country" condition. It wasn't bad but far from manicured. The greens are small and there are plenty with lots of slope - as in the ball WILL come back to your feet. It's a pretty open layout with not much trouble for anyone that can keep it decently straight. I got around in 3:20 with several groups waving me through with little or no prompting.
The staff was nice and the modest clubhouse clean and well laid out. I didn't eat there so can't comment on the food and bevie situation.
As I've written in other reviews over the past couple of years there is SO much choice in this area value for money is the thing. If you shop a bit you can get tee times at great golf courses (Otter Creek, Tarandowah, Forest City National) for under $50 so my recommendation would be go there first.
Good Deal
This is average course with some tricky holes and decent facilities. Have never seen it overly busy here and it probably won't appeal to top notch golfers. If it weren't for their good deal on Golf, cart and a burger, I probably wouldn't make the drive from London. Overall, it's not a bad course but if you're looking for something really special, this probably isn't for you.
good variety
The coarse was in good shape, good variety of different holes, greens were some what difficult to hold and putt
awesome experience
The course was in immaculate shape the greens were pretty fast but still challenging and the overall experience was great i will be going back to play another 18 holes.
Wow
I wouldn't have played this course unless I had the hot deal through gf now. Layout is a little silly, pace of play is appalling (almost 5 hours) the grounds were in poor shape and the greens hadn't been cut in a few days. Could be a fun little course if the little thing are looked after.
Affordable but Not Challenging
2nd time playing this course this year. It has dried up alot and is in pretty good shape.
I will continue playing out here as it is a decent track that is reasonably priced.
The lunch that comes with the round is great.
Excellent course close to London
Course is always in great shape and very well kept. Staff is friendly and pricing is much better than the city courses. 18 holes with a cart, and burger and fries for lunch for $40 can't be beat in the area.
