Bathurst Glen Golf Club

About
Bathurst Glen Golf Club, situated just north of Toronto, is owned and operated by the Toronto and Region Conservation, who placed a heavy emphasis on environmental sustainability during the development of the course. Its commitment to protecting the natural landscape even earned the Bathurst Glen certification as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary course. The executive layout measures to 4,551 yards from the back tees, a manageable length for beginners but there are still some challenges in store for more advanced golfers. The large, undulating greens are balanced by wide fairways that offer plenty of room. The strategically placed bunkers adhere to the natural contours of the
landscape and trees frame most of the holes. Bathurst Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 14th. This tough hole has two sand traps fronting a sloped green.

Cow Pasture at best
Bathurst Glen should be embarrassed to allow the game of golf to be played on their course.
The bunkers are atrocious, the greens are a joke and the entire course is covered with dandelions - even on the fairways.
It looks like they are just waiting for a home developer to buy them out because they obviously have given up on the up-keep of the course.
A real shame because the location is prime and it was once a decent course to enjoy a round of golf.
Greens need work
Early in the season, looks like the greens were just aerated and were rough, with lots of sand and loose grass. They had a fair number of maintenance workers working on the traps and course so expect it will be in better shape soon.
Good cources
Every time i play here, good courses and druving range .
But always busy golf cources.
Good platced ground.
Course has seen better condition
The greens were in awful shape; bare patches, dry patches, very slow. The fairway grass was long. I've played here for years and this was the worst shape I've ever seen it in.
A forgiving course
A fairly easy and a forgiving course for beginners. Good place for intermediates to practice all sorts of clubs. Played there often and would recommend it to others as well. Walking is not bad...
Bad conditions
This course does not follow tee time, staffs open late, the course is in terrible conditions , there are some green
Hidden gem
Long par three holes challenge your long irons, beautiful conservation area golf course. Sand bunkers like most courses are either mud or rock hard. Each hole had a wildlife information board with a different animal to learn about. Pictures that you take at this course will be your phone or laptop screen saver. I will be playing this course again.
Slow and steady
I walked the course and then paired
Up with another single golfer. It's was slow this day aprox 5min wait after about 6-8 holes. Overall was still nice day to golf. 7/10
A very nice executive course.
Although a par 3 course mainly with 7 par 4's scattered throughout, the course was still a good challenge Pace of play was good and staff were friendly and accommodating.
Overall a pleasant experience.
Don’t bother
Tee boxes are a joke. Basically like hitting off second cut from the fairways. The fairways are rock hard and or in poor shape. They seem to try and get as many people through as possible so considering it is a par 62 it would definitely get jammed up on the weekends. Didn’t see a beer cart once before, during, or after my round. There are a number of other courses around for $30-35 that I would go before Bathurst Glen.
Good rounding
Good westher
Good courses
Good pratice
I love it
Thanks
Good condition, slow play
Course was in good condition for spring golf. Pace of play is considerably slow.
Bathurst Glen
The condition of the course was pretty poor. But I guess it was as I should have expected as a pitch and putt course. Ok, there were a few par 5's and the finishing hole was a 480 yard par 5. The pace was very slow. Almost 5 hours to play an executive course. Painful!!! The bunkers were a mess. The fairways were rock hard. The greens lumpy. You judge on you own. Not for me. I'll pass next time.
