Always a good time at Bloomington. Downside .. pace of play was good then rapidly turned ponderous in the back 9 ... Could have finished all 18 but for the pace said nope ...

I played on 6/2/2025 morning with my wife. I paid $127.64 for us using Hot Deal, which I think very good price. The course condition was great, including green speed, fairway and rough condition, and soft bunker.

However, I disappointed at pace management and staff's attitude. I booked here, as my colleague strongly suggested and I expected break time between out and in courses, as he explained. But I couldn't enjoy the break time, because of a tournament. A staff said to me "No you can't have a break because we have a tournament in the afternoon". I felt not kindness but thought it's fair at the moment.

When we completed 9 holes, the staff told me we were late and we only have 2hours and 10 mins to complete in-course. I was so frustrated because our team including 2 other players spent 2 hours and 5 mins for out-course. We didn't play late. when we start, previous team delayed 7 mins so even we started late but finished 9 holes in time.

I felt the staff only focused the tournament and we felt pushed so rush. So we hurried to start hole 10th, and another crew pushed again us when we get the green in 10th hole. The staff said we have only 1 hours and 50 mins, even we just started 5 mins ago.

We gave up lots balls to reduce playing time and hurried up to finish the course. I regret booking on the day when the tournament is scheduled.

They should tell use the tight schedule and provide at least rain check instead of making us hurry. I never experienced this kind of not in manner. They shouldn't open a booking tightly.

I hope they treat all players as valued customer not only big group of tournament customers.

The washroom needs to be cleaned. Felt gross going in there.

Struggled through 9 holes of harsh winter conditions. Stopped after 9 holes. Would have been nice if the course offered us a rain check. I have played through rain in 30 degree temp but 9 degrees that felt like zero is to extreme.

Bloomington is fair course for the money. Not overly scary. Lots of forgiveness. A continuing annoyance is the club allows foursomes off of the back nine which groups coming off the front run into and then wait on every single shot. If someone wants to play nine, start on #1 like everyone else.

Course was in pristine condition, nice range and practice area to get ready for the round.

Although the Marshall was a dick, he should be let go immediately. Barrated us with rude comments when doing nothing wrong. He needs a reality check, complete power trip.

Greens can be more challenging and faster. Since there are no out of bound markings, carts should be allowed into the rough a little deeper.
