Richmond Hill Golf Club

Richmond Hill is an excellent course. From the check in process to the starter and throughout the game everything is so well organized and done. The course has a great layout. The fairways are clean and well maintained and the greens are impeccable. Pace of play is good and a golf day here is very enjoyable.

With today’s perfect weather, it is a very enjoyable day playing golf. The course is very well maintained except for a few bunkers. Fairways n greens looked beautiful under the bright sunshine and thd course is much dryer (the drainage is pretty bad after the rain). Pace is excellent and check in was super quick with very polite n friendly smiling staff. Will come back.

Overall, I had an enjoyable experience for my first round at the course. We teed off sunday afternoon and finished the round in about 4 hours and 40 mins. This is quite a bit slower paced than I am accustom too, but it was a long weekend afternoon and I understand pace can be difficult to maintain with a full booked tee sheet.

The course was a good layout with a nice mix of challenging tee shots/approaches, to some more forgiving holes. The one area that could use some work is the bunkers, many were pooled with water and varying sand levels from hole to hole made these shots unpredictable. I would play the course again and look forward to besting my score from last round (+7)

I was excited to try the practice facilities. The chipping green and putting green are in great shape. The range mats are in decent shape, sadly no grass hitting area. The stalls are really squeezed together tight, makes it a little tougher to practice around beginners.

Pro shop staff were only okay. Didn’t seem too interested. Golf now had multiple tee times that apparently they didn’t.

The course was in good condition. Greens were rolling nice. Bunkers were pretty poor (no sand really), so those need to be avoided. Pace of play was terrible, the first two holes took almost 1 hour to play. Had to stop on hole 10 as we had already exceed 3 hours of play time and the course goes away from the clubhouse after that hole.

Disappointed not to see the full 18, the pace of play was what ruined it really for me as it was hard to maintain any rhythm. So for me at this price the course is not worth it.

Great course. Only wish that you can book in advance for 9 holes.

For some seniors it is too hard to play 18 holes.

Perfect day for golf weather wise. Course was in great shape. Challenging for most average golfer. Easy course for less than 10 handicappers. Bit pricey for course
