Just close to my residence
I think the course layout was make without thinking
Meh
Close to the city but tight. Finishing hole on 18 is a joke. All up hill and roped off. Who ever heard of a par 5 with no cart access!
Last game of the year????
Starter suggested their plan was to close on the weekend, but enjoyed likely last game of the the year at RHGC. Staff had done a very good job of blowing leaves off the course. It was a chilly blustery bright day, so their efforts helped and were appreciated. Kind of silly to rate conditions in Nov in Ontario. Suffice to say tee boxes have seen better days, as well as bunkers. Otherwise you know what you are going to get at RHGC. Pretty quick, test greens, and decent fairways for the most part. some low lying and shaded areas do tend to get beat up. Pace of play always seems to be a challenge in the bottlenecks of the course.Enjoyable day. Now have to make it last until March or April.
Was charged for a 4th who was unable to play due to a medical situation; however, course was able to add a walk on 4th yet I was still charged for the 4th. I would like my refund for that 4th, otherwise, if I was going to be charged then I should not have had a stranger join us
Great round on beautifully maintained course
Wonderful course to play - really enjoyed our last couple of rounds here in the fall!
Saw marshal once. Very slow group ahead slowing down everyone behind. Skipped last 4 holes
twilight tee off
We were charged a twilight rate tee off for our 2:30 tee off. There was a 15 minute delay due to earlier frost delays.
We had to wait at every hole due to the slow play .
We were only able to get 12 holes . Expected to get at least 16 holes if not all 18 holes but that was not the case
Disappointed .
Therefore not the value expected for what we paid.
Fabulous!
From the frost warning emails to the funny and friendly starter to the delightful members we played with and the great shape the course was in, we had the best time! The weather was stunning for the end of October. The pace was relaxed with no pressure to play any faster. I played with my husband and had my best round there ever! Watch for their 2 for 1 sale in the fall. We give each other games as Christmas presents, making it very, very reasonable. Oh, the multigrain turkey baguette was DELISH and the last time we played an early game, they brought us warm breakfast sandwiches!!!
I can only say good things about this club!
