Richmond Hill Golf Club

I have booked the tee time for 1 player,when I arrived, they told me that I have to play together with the other 3 players and share the cart with them. The time gap between each tee time is only 10 minutes and you have to keeping catching up and shot as quick as possible cuz there are other four people waiting behind. I was stuck in middle since the four people ahead of me haven’t tee off yet and the four people behind me already caught up. The golf cart is noisy and the course condition is not as good as I expected. The overall experience is really frustrating since you have to play in a rush. They put 4 players in each 10 minutes so they can max out the profit. I would not come to this course again.

Hot and sunny on a busy Saturday afternoon.but the course and staff handled it. A little delayed in starting, but pace was excellent. Staff very professional, helpful and accommodating. Course is in good shape. Some of the teeboxes chewed up. A little expensive compared to some other places, but convenient.

Some kind construction or factory right in the middle of the course and making a lot of noise. Top of that, dirt piled up 5th or 6th hole which making making golfers feel that you are right in the middle of construction zone. Busy course but they should give tee time more than 10 min between groups. Felt we were playing in a such rush!.

Bruce G, Ron and the team are awesome...friendly, welcoming and keep everybody going off the first tee. Very organized - was a pleasure

Played Aug 7 2020 - mid afternoon tee time. Arrived 45 mins early to use driving range to warm up. Purchased bucket at pro shop when I paid for the course fees. Get to the driving range and turns out they are packed. No one mentioned this previously - stuck with a voucher for a bucket of balls for no reason now.

Headed to the starter. Immediately clear they were running behind. Played the first few holes having to wait for the group in front of us.

On the 4th hole, the starter came by and lectured us on slow play. Tried to rush us through. He spent a long time talking. That ruined everyone's mood. Not only do we lose all momentum of the course because the groups in front are slow, but we are being blamed for being behind.... We rushed to the next hole and the group in front of us hadn't even started and we had to wait for them.

From the 10th hole onwards we waited for 10 minutes at every hole for 2 groups in front of us. Total time was close to 5 hours....

The course should not be booking so many tee times so close together. They made it a point to remind everyone on social distancing etc as well...

Shame the poor management ruined an otherwise perfectly adequate course.

Would not recommend playing here this year. Course is trying to make up for lost time by overbooking. Wasted our time and money today.

A good course, well maintained. Blue tees are shorter than most of courses I played. Fairways are soft greens are fast. Requiring precision rather than distance. Will play again.

There was a lot of rain the last few days so we couldn't use riding carts. Fortunately it is an easy course to walk.

The only area that RH should improve is the mounding on the forward tees. Hard to get a level spot to tee off particularly on the back nine. Otherwise an enjoyable round as always.

Really enjoyed playing Richmond Hill again. The layout is great and the greens and fairways were in excellent shape, especially considering the hot summer we've had.

Course and staff were great. I find it a bit offensive that there is a charge to use the range in advance of a fully paid for round.

First time playing here. Some very interesting holes, sight lines. Strategic playing needed. Tbh not sure it's worth the going rate, but as a public/private club it has good facilities.
