About
Opened in 1923, Ridgetown Golf & Curling Club has been a longtime fixture for an enjoyable and affordable round of golf in Chatham-Kent, which has been called the "friendliest town in Ontario." The 18-hole golf course stretches across a lush, rolling landscape that is dotted with trees and ponds. The layout features small, impeccably manicured greens and rolling, generous fairways that are player-friendly. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are some strategically placed bunkers throughout, but overall the golf course appeals to players of any skill level. In addition to the course, Ridgetown Golf & Curling Club also offers a driving range, two practice holes, and a putting green for golfers to use.

Excellent value
We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. Pace of play was very quick. Just over 3 hours. Highly recommended
Double booked but good
When we showed up we were informed we had been double booked. We waiting an extra 30 minutes to tee off. It was slow. But we had fun.
Good day
Can't go wrong at the Ridge. Just need to stop the regulars from starting on 10 and playing as a 5-some. Golf is nothing without etiquette.
Excellent value good course to play.
The course was in good shape however greens were a little slow. Pace of play was very good. I will be back.
Great day
We had a great day , there was a lot of rain the day before so the middle of the fairway was really wet , but we made due. For the price it was my favourite round this year.

Nice course
Beautiful course. Lots of long holes. Challenging spots. Nice people. A bit far from home (an hour) but worth it. There was no beer cart though, which is probably the only thing I didn't like about the place. I'd definitely go back.
Online booking disappointment
Booked a 7:30 am tee time, showed up at 7:15 and 4 groups still waiting to tee off so we cancelled. We knew it would be a half hour delay and a slow round. With COVID-19 restrictions we should have only seen one group waiting to tee off. Hoped because I called course to cancel I get my money back!
After the storm..
We play this course lots - we were not happy with the $27 for a cart. What it cost us to play this year compared to last is more than double and that was with a ‘Hot deal’ I understand the hardship but our golf there at Ridgetown will not happen for these fees. It was also day after the storm and we played amongst lots and lots and lots of debris.

Nice walkable course with smallish greens,challenging though.The golf course is always in good shape.I like this course well worth the trip.I will always go back.
Loved The Course
My friend and I loved the course. Great shape. Challenging for our level of playing ( moderate) We will definitely be going back many times. Loved it.
Great course to play!
I loved the small well kept greens! Course is not long, but you need to chip well to have a good score. The course was not busy that morning. We were able to play 18 holes in less than 3.5 hours which was nice.
