Garden City Golf
Ok for the cost. But the greens need major improvement.
Course in Poor Shape
Played yesterday and the counter man told me the greens were rough because of the City ( who owns the course) shutting off their water for a couple weeks in the summer for construction. The greens are demolished and you will have a hard time finding enough grass to putt on. The fairways are rough, lots of weeds, crabgrass etc. This course has not been kept up as it was first opened. A rundown jewel the city should refurbish or sell to someone who will kept it up.
Not the worst
This course wasn't amazing, but it really wasn't horrendous either. It is dedfintly in need of some maintenance that the city doesn't seem to want to provide. Some farways were great, while others were terrible. Same is to be said about the green. Tee boxes overall were in very good condition.
I think my only real complaint is the length! Both golf now and the course website need to update the parents and length. This is a short course with only 4 par four's with the longest post at 306 yards! With paying the hot deal price, I enjoyed my day quick day out (just under 3 hours for a twosome), otherwise I would not have been happy showing up to such a short course.
Garden city
Course is in poor condition but the price is right if looking for an inexpensive round
Not worth a do over.
Course was inexpensive which was good and the staff was very kind (Cathy at front desk). The course however had a confusing layout and was bone dry. Like the greens were brown and the fairways were rock hard. Made iron play difficult hitting off what felt like rock. Though it was cheap the courses condition makes it not worth it at any price.
Garden city
Reasonably priced, too many par 3,s at the same distance (150-160). A lot of winter kill which didn’t affect the putting that much, but does need a lot of work around the greens. Pretty average for a municiple course. Sand traps were actually pretty good. Sand was consistent. Good price with the golf now deal.
Mixed feelings
To be fair they have had to deal with flooding 2 of the fairways approaching the green where just mud and the rough was really long however we made the best of it and had fun but would not return
Rough course in bad shape
I have played this course is 2016 and 2017 and it has been declining over the last 2 years. Large patches of dirt with no grass on fairways. Weeds on greens. Feels like a zero-maintenance facility. Will never go back even if it is free.
Course in good shape for early in the season
Course has been cleaned up considerably since last time I played here, greens were in good shape.A very enjoyable round!

Good value
The course is good for average golfers ... not much of a challenge for really good golfers , short holes . Be sure and book cart ahead of time or u may not get one ! Very affordable . Unfortunately poor drainage so greens were very wet. Overall good course. We play here a lot cause it's cheaper than most
