About
Rockway Vineyards Golf Course offers an 18-hole championship round with the Niagara Escarpment and the Rockway Conservation Area serving as the backdrop. The course sprawls across the vineyards of the Rockway Vineyards Estate Winery. The rolling landscape provides tricky elevation changes and there are numerous ponds and bunkers throughout the golf course. The layout features large, sculpted greens and fairways that are flanked by more than 60 sand bunkers. The front nine features a challenging set of par 4s and fast, undulating greens. Vineyards's back nine begins gently with short approach shots and birdie opportunities but becomes more challenging once you hit the 13th hole, a par-4 dogleg left.

course was in great shape
tough pin locations that day (tournament before us) but best deal I found yet
Weekend so busy..
everything was good But on the weekends, there were so many people that I played golf for 5 hours... I waited for every hole. I think I should avoid weekends. Thank you.
Rockway was in good shape considering how dry it has been over the last two weeks.
Good but could be better
The club spends money clearing out perfectly good bushes and buying boulders. Where money would be better served fixing traps. Many stones in the traps and very thin. I know transport tucks of sand from Cleveland came to Canada for $600. Traps that they gave up on should be properly filled with topsoil and a tree or two placed to maintain a hazard.
Very slow round no marshal
Very slow round no Marshall in site. Even when I told starter after 9. No sand in traps so hard to play out off rough a little to long right off fairway lose your ball

Overall very good condition, only thing was the greens were recently punched so they weren’t in the best conditions. Other than that very good!
Greens punched
It would be nice if golf now would share that with us. I wish instead of green work, Rockway would do work on traps.

Course was in good shape would have given 5stars except they where aerating the back 9 so had to play the front twice
