The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club - Blue Niagara
About
The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club (formerly know as Peninsula Lakes Golf Club) is home to 27 holes of golf. The Blue Niagara Course, the club's original course, is named for its layout, which descends to the bottom of a quarry and then makes a gradual ascent to the clubhouse. There are four large lakes throughout this nine-hole course that comes into play on four holes. The golf course is challenging with well-placed bunkers, dense patches of rough, and careful mounding throughout but the more player-friendly fairways are quite generous and mid-size greens that putt fast and true. It begins with two signature holes, first a par-4 dogleg left and then a challenging par 3.

Good Updates
I had not golfed at this course since it changed ownership and raised the prices 300%.
With a Golf Now deal it was reasonable to try the course again. Beautiful course in great condition. Pace of play could be improved and staff could have been more helpful in guiding us where to start and to report to the starter.
Overall a good experience.
The Hawk
The Hawk Golf Club is a thrilling, and beautiful experience that I would highly recommend to any golf lovers. The maintenance crew had great attention to detail and the course is well maintained. Whether your an expert or a beginner this course is perfect for you. I hope you enjoy this course as much as I do.
The Hawk has elevated the standard of golf in the Niagara region. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you get the sense that you are in for something special. My experience was truly exceptional, highlighted by the wonderful staff I encountered, from the cart attendants upon arrival to the team in the restaurant after my round.
The course maintenance is second to none; the fairways are impeccably manicured, the greens are in perfect shape, and even the rough is well-kept, making for enjoyable iron play. Playing The Hawk feels like having access to your own private course—there is never any pressure to rush your game or feel like you are being pushed. It was the most relaxing round of golf I have ever played, and the peaceful atmosphere alone makes it well worth the price of admission.
Jomigo
PenLakes is now known as The Hawk of Niagara. The 2 nines of Hillside and Quarry now known as Blue Niagara and Red Talon, with the pattern and length of holes now changed. The course is in better shape/condition than under previous ownership.
Looking forward to playing it again soon!
Great Course and staff
After renovations and all the upgrades the course landscape and playability is next level ! Friendly helpful staff that have stories that'll keep you coming back!
A must play in Niagara
I’ve played a lot of courses in Southern Ontario, and The Hawk stands out. What used to be a sand and gravel quarry has been transformed into one of the most striking layouts I’ve seen, with elevation changes, water features, and sightlines.
With three 9-hole courses to mix and match, you can build a completely different round every time you visit. The conditioning is consistently excellent, the pace of play is well managed, and the staff clearly take pride in the place. If you haven’t played The Hawk yet, put it on your list. You won’t regret it.

Best course in the Niagara region
The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The pace of play was smooth, and the facilities, including the clubhouse, were clean and well-maintained. It's clear that a lot of care goes into providing a premium golf experience.
Great day
Great day, course was fantastic, staff was very friendly.
Amazing
I had a absolutely amazing day. The Marshal was extremely accommodating. Gave me lots of time to warm up before I went out even though I just made my tee time. He was so pleasant, he literally made my day. Course is beautiful and now that it's the hawk and no longer peninsula lakes the cost makes much more sense. $155 instead of $350. A gem and i can't wait to go back.
Perfect Day
Amazing upgrades all around the course. Absolute showcase of what a Niagara course can be when such a significant investment is made. Could use a first cut of rough so balls that slip off the fairway aren't punished so much, but otherwise a fair test. Would like to see a local rate for residents in the immediate area.
Best course
This hands down was the best course I've ever played. All the staff are very accommodating and helpful. The layout and conditions were perfect.
The Hawk
Got to play this course. One of the best in the area.
Almost there
Drop the price another 20$ and I would play there all summer, still too expensive
Great game at the hawk
Me and my buddy played here on Saturday and ended up being a gorgeous day out, and the course was an absolute pristine condition
The only thing I would have to comment is just on the cost. I understand that golf is just getting expensive nowadays, but as a casual golfer and a father, it’s very tough to justify paying the original price of $300 plus for a round of golf if they keep it at about $120 around with car included, I would play here every single time I played the course is beautiful. I really have nothing bad to say about it. I recommend getting out and playing here for sure. I wanna come back and try the red course. We played blue and white and again very very very nice area. Very wonderful course. Just the price was high. We were lucky we got the deal of the 155 around. I just asked that it’d be dropped just a little bit so I could justify coming there more.
