The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club - White Orchard
About
The White Orchard Course is one of three challenging nines at The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club (formerly known as Peninsula Lakes Golf Club). The course's layout features tricky elevation changes and there are also sand traps and bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. Like the other two courses, the White Orchard features several lakes but it is flatter, straighter, and more narrow than the other nines. It also plays a bit longer. The par-3 sixth is a scenic challenge with an elevated tee that looks upon a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water. The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club is garnering a loyal following for the interesting challenges offered by its 27 unique holes.

Golfer Reviews
Fair
First time playing there in years . It was always well maintained and thought the $125 I paid was fair . Wouldn’t pay any more than that . Carts have gps but are gas . Sand was great and mostly consistent , 2 kinds . Course was damp , greens were great .
Tremendous
If any “golfer” has any kind of an issue at this venue they have a problem. It literally is outstanding from the time you pull in and there after. Top 5 courses I have ever played. A++++
Prettiest course in Ontario
From the moment we pulled into the parking lot to shopping the pro shop after our round, everyone was extremely courteous!
The course was in impeccable shape, tee boxes, fairways and greens… fast greens with pin positions that played challenging enough for all level of players!
All of the facilities on and off the course were very clean. The course is extremely picturesque this time of the year! Compared to other courses in the area, I think that the new price point is spot on!
I will definitely be adding The Hawk to my list of courses when friends visit from out of town! It is a MUST play!
Always In Excellent Shape
3rd time this year playing this amazing course. Always well kept. Staff are amazing. The service is fantastic from the bag drop attendees to the front desk and course staff.
We always fell like a private member for the day. One great customer service thing that happened. We played a bit of a slow round on The Orchard when we made the turn our starter said you are set to play Blue Talon but it will be slow so if you want you can go to Red Talon. Wow we played it in 1,5 hours. That is fantastic customer service to give us the option. The food is fantastic and they have a great pro shop. The range is amazing as well. We will be back
Fantastic conditions
Worth a drive, closest thing to private course. Amazing conditions. Pace of play could be better but still wasn't terrible.
Good Updates
I had not golfed at this course since it changed ownership and raised the prices 300%.
With a Golf Now deal it was reasonable to try the course again. Beautiful course in great condition. Pace of play could be improved and staff could have been more helpful in guiding us where to start and to report to the starter.
Overall a good experience.
The Hawk
The Hawk Golf Club is a thrilling, and beautiful experience that I would highly recommend to any golf lovers. The maintenance crew had great attention to detail and the course is well maintained. Whether your an expert or a beginner this course is perfect for you. I hope you enjoy this course as much as I do.
The Hawk has elevated the standard of golf in the Niagara region. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you get the sense that you are in for something special. My experience was truly exceptional, highlighted by the wonderful staff I encountered, from the cart attendants upon arrival to the team in the restaurant after my round.
The course maintenance is second to none; the fairways are impeccably manicured, the greens are in perfect shape, and even the rough is well-kept, making for enjoyable iron play. Playing The Hawk feels like having access to your own private course—there is never any pressure to rush your game or feel like you are being pushed. It was the most relaxing round of golf I have ever played, and the peaceful atmosphere alone makes it well worth the price of admission.
Jomigo
PenLakes is now known as The Hawk of Niagara. The 2 nines of Hillside and Quarry now known as Blue Niagara and Red Talon, with the pattern and length of holes now changed. The course is in better shape/condition than under previous ownership.
Looking forward to playing it again soon!
Great Course and staff
After renovations and all the upgrades the course landscape and playability is next level ! Friendly helpful staff that have stories that'll keep you coming back!
A must play in Niagara
I’ve played a lot of courses in Southern Ontario, and The Hawk stands out. What used to be a sand and gravel quarry has been transformed into one of the most striking layouts I’ve seen, with elevation changes, water features, and sightlines.
With three 9-hole courses to mix and match, you can build a completely different round every time you visit. The conditioning is consistently excellent, the pace of play is well managed, and the staff clearly take pride in the place. If you haven’t played The Hawk yet, put it on your list. You won’t regret it.

Best course in the Niagara region
The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The pace of play was smooth, and the facilities, including the clubhouse, were clean and well-maintained. It's clear that a lot of care goes into providing a premium golf experience.
Great day
