Great challenge
Long course real par 5s where driver is not your best option. Lack of mature trees to help with the wind but wide fairways
Good course for the Money
I would play this course anytime .It is a Fair test of golf . They have Three Nines All are good .The staff are very nice and made me feel welcome . The greens are good Fairways and tees are in good shape . Close to the highway .Great course for the price .
Playing again after 15 years
I was dissappointed. The fairways were a farm patch full of weeds, bare patches every where and ruts and bumps enough to loosen your fillings! I lost 2 balls in the wide open first rough cut that was 2 inches long because of the ruts and weeds. The dandelions were everywhere...even on the green fringes! The greens at least didn't have any bare patches but had ball marks EVERYWHERE! Playing off blue tees the course is reasonably long and the water hazzards on the blue course make some challenges. Too bad they don't spend at another level to make this course decent. I got a SUPER deal from GOLFNOW and it was only $18.00 for cart and 18 holes luckily so I at least got to practice my shots.Right now it is the worst course in Niagara Region.
long holes ...even the par 3s
We had a very good rate so we really got a lot of bang for our buck. The sand was poor to not much in the bunkers. Very wide fairways so if your not a straight shooter you could still save yourself. The water holes were very challenging on the blue course. The greens were in really good shape. Still need fairways to get in better shape. Overall enjoyed the round.
Could be so much better
We played this course 10 years ago. Wasn't impressed then, thought I would give it another chance, but I am afraid it just wasn't worth coming back. The guy in the pro shop and the starter were the only friendly faces we saw. That is where the positives stop. I wasn't impressed with the lady in the restaurant or the cart girl. Service was very poor. Saw the cart girl finally at the 14th hole. The course was all dried and full of weeds. The signs on the holes telling you the way the hole went were confusing or nonexistent. It was suppose to be 10 minute tee times, but we had groups coming off another nine and jumping in between the groups that were scheduled. They just walked up and teed off while we were standing there. This ended up with some old guy (don't know if he was a marshal or ignorant member because there was nothing to indicate this) coming up and telling us as foursome to keep up with the threesome in front us, who shouldn't have been there to begin with, because of the threesome behind us complaining, they shouldn't have been there either. It doesn't look like they have watered or sprayed the fairways at all. The bugs were terrible, you broke your tee just trying to put it in the ground and there were huge weed patches everywhere. For the Niagara area I was very surprised by the condition of this course. It has so much more potential that could make it something worth coming back to, but I'll never take that chance again. They aerated the greens, but did not indicate this on golf now or I wouldn't have booked there.
A great walk in the country
My favorite local course with its 27 holes beautifully carved out of the surrounding forests, fields and farmlands.
It's big and roomy and plays long, especialy from the blues or when the ground is wet. The greens are pro-size and hold the ball well on approach shots.
Once construction is finished on the new clubouse and a few other maintenance projects are done, it promises to be better than ever.
The staff is awesome... friendly and accomodating. 5*****
This course is great for value
New owners are building new clubhouse and the 27 hole course is in good shape and getting better. looks like they are going to spend some money and make this a course to play.
challenging, a fair bit of water
It was longer than I'm used to - so it was challenging. The rough was pretty heavy in places, so you need to be accurate. Greens were in nice shape.
Club house needs to be stocked with food better, they ran out of sandwiches in early afternoon.
Course needs work on the fare ways, greens are good

Greens are good
Prices are suitable for this course
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the golf experience.
The variety of the holes from open fairway to mature trees and water created many challenges. The fairways were rough at times but all the greens were smooth and putted well. Playing from the back tees provided a full test of golfing skills.
needs more work
improvements have been made and more needs to be done but all these things take time and I am sure they are doing their best .
Wide open but long. Course needs some tending loving care.
Traps had no sand. Greens were on the slower side. Fairways were full of clover............but we were looking for cheap and fast. And that's what we got.
Still would play here again, just to bang the ball around.
this course should be closed during the extensive costruction, the fairways are all cut up, the sand traps are hard mud and the tee boxes are a mess
We would not play this course until next year when course construction is complete and sand traps are improved, balls could not be played out of traps.
New owner must catch up on course maintenance
27 holes very challenging from the back tees. Simplely maintain what they have to a higher degree !
In the process of being updated
As drainage has been a problem in the past, it looks as though that is being addressed with drainage ditches throughout the course with hoses lining it. A new clubhouse is being built also. I would probably wait until those things have been completed before I would venture back there.
Greens were nice and soft
Enjoyed the layout and the greens were nice and soft so the ball stuck well. Cart paths could use some maintenance. Will be nice when the new club house is completed
Better than last year.
We got a bit lost. Only my second time there. The course is under new management, and they have done some work on the cart-paths etc. They need new and more signs for the holes. Some directional signs would be nice also. The course itself was challenging for a hacker like myself, and the greens were very nice.
Varitey of holes makes for challenging golf
Course was in good condition despite time of year. Greens were in very good. I little work on cart paths. Overall a good course for beginners as well as intermediate golfers.
some very good holes
The fairways were in poor shape and the greens were a little shaggy. The pace of play was very good. Directions from a map company were very roundabout. Don't use them!
