Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

Signage and bunkers
Great course. Everything first rate except more sand needed in bunkers and better directional signage would be helpful.
Great course.
Only issue signing up with golf now as a single, playing with players not my calibre. Slower play for me
But overall good experience
Overcharging
Was over charged by a lot, web page list green fees 110, 2 per cart fee at 25, of Canada dollars, but I was charged $150 U.S. now based on the exchange rate(didn’t know at the time) was about U.S. $111, thats kinda of a overcharge! Sad

Attitude adjustment
The staff need an attitude adjustment, I’ve to say the gentleman in the pro shop was very inviting. We seen the marshal a few times, instead of keeping an eye on the pace of play he was looking for balls in the woods. I remember when this course used to be looked upon as one of the best in Canada but over time the staff and the quality has diminished. Really disappointed, has lots of potential.
Bad experience
Tee off times were delayed due to frost. So we had 2-3 teams waiting at the tee box for each hole, but that's understandable.
Some players were drunk and talking loudly, even yelling, playing loud music, and keeping their carts too close to the team in front.
Marshall was nowhere to be seen. We drove an hour and a half each way on Saturday and it ruined our weekend.
Air raided
Why does nobody ever mention irrigation on the greens before you pay? No marshalls to speed up slow play in front of us. I was a little disappointed in Legends today.
Battlefield was a Battle
Great layout. Great price however greens had been punched and sanded. Putting was pretty unpredictable. Overall the course was in great shape. Played with guys that were doing a stay and play. Seemed like great value. I would place again and hope to play all courses in the Legends complex. Before they are aerated!!!!
Wonderful experience
Was a wonderful course even on a rainy day was still beautiful
