Willodell Golf Club of Niagara
About
Willodell Golf Club of Niagara is neighbored by Lyon Creek to one side and Tee Creek to the other. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature trees, which border the undulating fairways. Several ponds and two creeks come into play on 10 holes. There are numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with in addition to the water hazards. The layout features a mix of driving holes, strategic holes, and some tough par 3s. Being so diverse, the golf course appeals to a range of different skill levels and tastes. The fifth hole is Willodell Golf Club's most difficult par 3 with trees right and left and a frontal bunker that forces a full carry to the green, which is also bunkered on both sides with grassy lateral hazards that sit beyond the sand.

Should have been closed
We were not informed the course was unplayable due to heavy rain the night before. It would have been appropriate if the pto drop had told us
Great course to play
I golfed with my wife and a friend and course was challenging but in great shape. Greens were fast but true. We will come back for sure soon.

Nice course, great value!
The course is in great shape. The pace of play was great. It is a very walkable course.
Great conditions
We enjoyed a well paced round as we finished in under 3.5 hours. The course is in great shape and the greens rolled true. The cost of walking 18 is fair compared to some other courses. $40 on Golf Now but tack on another $10 for taxes and “convenience fees” The only part I find hard to accept is the cost of the driving cart. $25 dollars each. $50 for a round. Not really updated carts like the Niagara Parks have. (Range Finder/GPS) I am not ancient but I remember when the cart was $25 and if you had two people on it you could split the cost. Now golf is getting to be unaffordable. Walk it and it’s a good deal on a nice course. That’s my plan in the future.
Good flat walking course...
This is a relatively flat course and hence I would strongly recommend walking. The course id replete with beautifuly maintained fairways and greens.
The deep rough could do with a bit of cutting back and edge trim back which would make it a bit easier for those who are not always on the fairways.
Overall a very playable course that truly offers an excellent game experience for the golfer in you.
Great conditon
I have not played this course in a couple of years and now I am like why not?
Course is in great shape. Plush fairways and greens were in good condition. Some challenging holes. Good friendly staff.
First round of the year
Overall, we had a great time!
But at the beginning of the season and with all the rain, the course was soaked in water!
For the course layout, it's just enough challenges not easy, but also not crazy hard
Great deal and conditions
Very wet due to heavy rainfall in the morning but the course was otherwise in very good condition considering it’s been open for 6 days. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Love to come to this course! Thanks.
Great course!
The course is in great condition, and the complimentary range is a great asset!
