Stittsville Golf Course

I was sold a hot deal 18 holes including a cart for to golfers. When we arrived we were told no carts would be available for the day, due to wetness. The course is in rough shape. we had driven so far to get there there was no time to leave & search for another course.

Booked on GolfNow , supposed to get golf and cart but since course was wet we were forced to walk. No cart paths therefore weren't allowed to take carts. Fairways were bad and greens were worse. Price was ok.

It was a good day, I was paired up with interesting people

We found the course in decent shape considering its still early in the season. The pace of play was too slow and not a marshal to be found. Not my favourite course in the region but the price is right.

This course was advertised on golf now as golf with a cart. When I got to the course they stated it was posted wrong and would not give me the cart . I spoke to the new G.M. at the time and he would not honour the free cart . I would think that for a new G.M. his job would be to promote his course . The cart would have cost him nothing . By not honouring the advertised deal I will definitely think twice about returning .

Course just opened this weekend. Was fairly dry and in reasonable shape for time of year. Pace was excellent. Staff was very courteous.

We had just received two days of rain, so the course was very damp and the greens had been recently punched. However, it was a beautiful day and who can go wrong golfing in late October for $25. Decent value for the money.

I am sure that he course will be in a much better shape in the summer next year. Supervision of the movement of the players should be better monitored by the marshals.

The golf coarse is in good shape but the greens are not which makes the round unfaverable.

Have played this course a few times in the past and it was always in good condition and the staff were always very friendly.
Unfortunately the greens were in brutal conditions. The ball bounced all over on putts. The rest of the course was good and the staff were still great.
I wont play it again until the greens get repaired. Even with the great deal I got from GolfNow.

The course layout is good but the greens need some attention.

We would play this course again. We did find it long .Conditions were pretty good for this late in the season.

This was the worst golf course I had played this year. The course it self was not bad but the greens were in terrible condition. And worst part of the golf course was the staff. They were way overbooked. Our tee time was at 10:45 but we did not get to start till 11:05 and before we even hit the first ball, one of the marshal told us we have to cross the 11th hole before 1pm because there is a tournament which has a gun shot start at 1pm. But we had few groups in front of us and we couldn't move any faster and at the end of 8th hole the they forced us to move to 11th hole. So to cut the story short, we paid for 18 holes and get to play only 16.
