Very poor bunkers. Please add some sand one of these years
Nice Place, needs some TLC
It was a fun overall course to play, but the odd layout (10 holes all have the tee boxes within 40 feet of each other), the poor condition of the sand traps and the general overused feel of the fairways made it less than a stellar course. There was no beer cart service, but there is a hut at the center of the 10 hole tee box area, and the lady in the hut was very friendly.
Great bargain
No complaints.
Great bargain for your money. Friendly staff and well kept course. Water fill up station was nice also.
Not sure what happened..
Used to be a great little course with same grounds keeping quality as it's big sister course Bethesda. Not anymore apparently. Bunkers had no sand to speak of or grass and weeds growing in them . Layout has you now criss crossing holes now the first and 10th got flipped ..
Pace of play is non existenant with half the people playing are geriatric aged and walking with pull carts .or rank beginners hitting 50 yard drives .. Disappointing and if Bethesda is kept like this , yikes ...
No sand bunkers
The course is a nice beginner strip. However, the bunkers have no sand and weeds are growing.
Great course
Would suggest rolling hills over most other courses. Best bang for your buck.
Conditions not great
I like to play challenge course because it’s convenient and usually good value. This time I found the course conditions not up to usual standards. The tee boxes are all bald and dry. The fairways and greens are too long. Hopefully the maintenance improves.
