First time this year
Our first day of golf this year and it was excellent. Paired with a charming couple and , although a little rusty, we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely be back but only during the week...very busy course!
Great value for money
Decent course maintainence along with friendly pro shop staff amand a great price that included a drive cart and a veggie burger meal makes this course a great value for money.

What you’d expect for the money.
Pace of play was slow today. Course was in alright condition. Tee boxes need some serious attention and some water! Some are rock hard.

Challenge course. Fairways and greens were in very good condition considering the lack of rain in recent weeks. Course was busy but still only a 4 hour round for 18 holes which was great. In the end though it is not a very challenging, not very long course that does not justify how much they charge. Had not received a lot of rain in weeks yet sand traps were full of water on every hole except the 17th.

Decent Course
Not a difficult course but good for the average golfer. The layout was the major concern here because each holes green backed onto the next tee box - which is great if you are walking but terrible for overall safety if someone hits the ball slightly longer than expected. In addition most holes were straight with only slight variations.

You are right, the course set-up is best for golfers looking to work on their game. If you are looking for a full Championship course then our Bethesda Grange course would be your best course. Hope to see you back to try that course.

Not in good shape
I played the course with a buddy, when we got there we were stuck waiting with 3 other groups to tee off because the course over booked themselves. When on the course we didn’t see a beer cart the whole round after being told there is one out there. Also all of the bunkers were either rock solid or soaking wet with puddles in them.

Great Course if you are not a long hitter!!
Great course if you are not a long hitter but try to avoid the sand traps at all costs. The traps are in terrible shape shape, they were wet and muddy, it was like hitting off wet clay.

Heads up!
Decided to check out this course seen the price didn’t mind saving a few bucks but knew it wasn’t going to be the best. Layout is very poor. Behind every green is the next tee box , so your constantly keeping an eye on the group behind you to see where there balls lands. If you don’t be surprised if it rolls near you especially on the 94 yard par 3

Never Again
Quickly booked a hot deal for the Challenge 18 for saturday morning. Was very pleased with $45 for my round. Until I arrived at the course to find it was a waking rate only (My own fault for not checking).
Not a big deal, a little upgrade for a cart except it’s a $22 per person for each cart. The cart i received barely worked, had to lightly press the pedal for it to move. And wait for it to kick into gear which sometimes took multiple minutes of rolling at slower than a walking pace. So we’re at $66 each to play 18, and the sour taste in my mouth turns rotten, when i’m told the par 70 is only a hair over 4000 yards. Which is not disclosed anywhere on their website.
The course was in an abysmal condition. Tee boxes were littered in holes and dirt, greens had blemishes of just mud and dirt. Everything was as hard as a rock, surprising since it rained the night before. Which lead to every bunker to be a water hazard.
If Rolling Hills is going to continue to charge $66 a person for a round they better start to maintain all three of their 18s and not just Bethesda Grange. The entire round left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will bring my business elsewhere.
Please spend your money elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to respond and deeply apologize for the experience. GolfNow improperly posted a walking time but it was meant to be including power cart. Our pro shop team correctly charged you for the cart, as the notes from GolfNow claimed it was a walking time.

Great value
Very busy tee times a bit close but not a bad course and 40$ for 18 holes and cart in the gta is extremely good. Great for beginners I brought my wife who recently started golfing and she enjoyed it.
