Greens
Positive- signs on the ground pointing to next tee the signs for each hole are impossible to read until very close to them
Also the fairways were cut nicely and rough not as long as last time there
Negative- many greens in rough shape with care patches
Disappointing
I hadn't been there since it was Bear Creek. The course is now overgrown and even narrower. And the rough is long enough to hide your ball. I lost 5 balls. Bare spots on fairways and greens. Bunkers are not very playable. Played in less than 3 hours since course was almost empty once regulars completed their morning rounds. I won't be back,
Slow Play
It was uncomfortable being a single behind 12 players annd being pushed by a twosome from behind!
Equipment faulty
We booked 18 holes at this golf course. Day was going great and we were having a great time. On the 5th hole one of the wheels of the golf cart came off driving on straight part of the course. We called the pro shop to let them know the incident right away. The ladies at the shop provided a replacement cart for us and we kept on playing as normal. All the sudden on the next hole (starting 6th hole) one of the pro shop attendants came back in a total different tone, the next hour ruined the entire experience and ruined our whole rest of the day. We were blamed and threatened for police to come and deal with the issue as we did not want to provide a credit card for damages that we didn’t make. A manager was called and the threats kept on coming. My only ask for them was to bring the person that is supposed to do the damage assessment so that he could determine if we were at fault. This could have easily be dealt a total different way but it was escalated way too quickly on their side to threats. At the end the grounds manager deemed the damage not to be our fault. What if the wheel had come out on their steep hill road or any hill and someone was injured. Their roads are also not very maintained, which would make sense that carts would need better or more frequent maintenance. Our whole day, experience and potential repeat business was absolutely destroyed.
Watch out 4 those trees
Some chunky Bare spots on greens made putting numerous holes a pain.
Never Disappoints
Willowtree is one of my favourite courses to play and it never disappoints. Great holes, great scenery and amazing staff. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great game of golf
Tight but fun
Lots of tight fairways and water in play. But a fun course.
Great Spot!
We enjoyed it thoroughly. Good variety of different elevations. We’ll be back!
Let Go
Since the last time I played the course has been allowo go wild. It is plain thare trying to sell a poor g course at premium rates
That was close
Be aware of golfers teeing off. The tee blocks are very close to the fairways coming and going.
Greens were furry and bumpy.
Grading the cart paths would be an improvement.
