Great course in great condition
Our first time playing Pine Valley. Great value for your money. The course was in excellent shape.
The only problem we had was a foursome a few groups in front of us holding everything up. No Marshall. But it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. No big deal.
First game on Pine Valley
Thin pickings on our usual preferred courses led us to look at Pine Valley
Bit of drive (1 hr 45 mins) but scenic ride
Arrived early and promptly provided with cart and sent to first tee where we followed another twosome out. Pace was great didn’t see anyone ahead of us after third hole and no one behind us though course appeared busy
Played 18 in just over 3 hours; love it! Good routing holes are close to each other without overlapping and a couple of shared tee boxes
Front is tight due to tree lined fairways but not dense. I put my share of shots to the left and was able to hit through or back onto fairway. Few scruffy fairways and tee boxes on front nine but may be time of year and amount of play
Back nine more open; several scenic elevated tee shots and lots of slope on fairways. Pay attention to your lie!
Not overly long but requires some good tee shot placements
Very pretty course and the greens are small but in immaculate condition and rolled very true
Will put this on our list to return to next year
Mature course
Good value course. Some tight holes with a shorter layout. All around course for the mid level player. Worth the trip to play.
Didn't Even Play Our Round
The course overbooked times and carts. We got there 20 mins before tee time and there was a group of 12 still waiting for carts to come in and be sanitized before they could use them. We asked if we could go ahead of the group and couldn't unless we wanted to walk. We would have, however, there were no pull carts available and we didn't bring ours.
Very disappointed as this was a Hot Deal.
Good and Bad
Dude this morning in pro shop gets a BIG THUMBS DOWN. No smiles or friendly greeting. Other than that an enjoyable day.
